  • Oh my days, how an earth are you going to use a £180 voucher?! Assuming you can't get another DTD that means you have to spend £180 on stuff that you know is the same price, or cheaper at Tesco, and if you're going risk going for another voucher, what next a £360 voucher?! or a simple sorry you've reached your limit.

And surely a voucher of that size has got to set alarm bells ringing, I just hope for your sake you don't get the one person that knows there is a £100 limit and then decides to query it, scary!!

    But good luck :)

The smaller shops are definitely the way to go, using a £20 voucher and rolling over means you get much more for your money, but I agree the problem is there is so much to buy and so little time... lol

I wonder what customer services would advise to those with vouchers higher than £100 if the customer called to query it and innocently ask if they would be able to use it despite the terms stating a £100 fair usage limit per household?! I wonder if they'd change it or just tell you to use it and they'd authorise it if the store queried it? :)
Please remember to thank fellow MSE'rs

i think we should go national with this to the press i think tescos is hiding fact its taken price checker offline and the fact tesco have made a big boob lol obviously it works for them on their Intranet just doesnt work outside for us lol

Hmm, I'm not sure we want it in the press - it'll only hasten the demise of the scheme if it becomes even more well known. Just use mysupermarket and you've got a built in comparison with Asda which is easier anyway.
  • :jI goggled Tesco product check and found the link :j

sorry as a new user it wont let me post the link but if you google

"tesco product check" the link should be the one at the very top

Only problem is every search comes up with
"Sorry, there were no products matching this description."

lol are they having a laugh or what

I going to save the link you never know they might they update it soon

This thread is beyond me now, would really appreciate it if someone could bring me up to speed.
The price checker isn't working, so how is everyone finding items to buy? Are you checking against Asda prices online and then buying and lastly are people ordering online or in store and when do the prices/promotions end?
    Thanks :)

  • It was hilarious in Tesco this evening; the store was drowning under a sea of Yellow reduced / offer stickers; clearly on products we know they had to reduce because they were cheaper at Asda. but even so it looked terrible.
