So poor old Doris uses a 56p off coupon and on her shop, gets home checks it and the next day is told shes been over charge 61pence and prints off her has £1.22 voucher, but she cant use it as they signed her previous receipt?

Sorry as i said this sounds like one idiotic store managers brain wave.
    N20Y1D wrote: »
Also this signing the receipts, that would null and void the £100 per month per household?
    GolfBravo wrote: »
    Agreed.

I would tell them to jump!

Where does it say in their T&C's that you can't recycle vouchers?

And besides, why would the local stores care anyway? Tesco head office reimburse them for DTD vouchers anyway from Tesco promo budget, so it really benefits the local store.

    jeez!

i am only posting my experience from tesco today; so that if others encounter a similar situation, then they're not going to be surprised!!!

but then your 'old' receipt is your property and that gets signed anyway.

as i said, the supervisor actually went to ring tesco HQ, so there was no store manager involved - unless they were on the phone?!

one thing is for certain, i won't be using that store tomorrow! still gonna do a DTD shop at another store. luckily, i have about 10 stores within a 5 mile radius.

just a warning for other people.

Haha just the two near me. For the record I wasn't doubting you rather the information they had given you.

I usually hand my receipts over as they are attached t to the voucher, its easier that way rather than fumbling about matching up with relevant voucher;)

Used up my first DTD voucher today!

I'm already itching to see if/what I will get back tomorrow - wish it would hurry up! :D
"Buy me, Lady", said the frock, "and I will make you into a BEAUTIFUL & WHOLE & COMPLETE human being".
"Do not be silly", said the Man, "for a frock alone cannot do that".
"True", said the Lady, "I will have the shoes and the bag as well".

Right I took my very ill self into tesco (dedication to the cause!!) and bought
2 wolf blas yellow label cab sauv
    1 la gioiosa Pinot grigio
    1 kelliggs start

Realised after that I should have bought 3 pinots as it's gonna come back cheaper than asda for that one....what a div. Luckily I actually went in for nurofen plus, lucozade and soup but obviously I split my shop! Annoyed at myself about the White wine tho!!

I noticed the bold 2 in 1 gel had gone down in price to asdas price which was annoying cos I need bold!!

What tuna is it on? There were so many princes/john west tuna I gave up in case I got it wrong!

Received an email from Philip Clarkes office. I had asked why pricechecker was removed and will it be back. If not are cusmtomers to compare prices using online and instore prices as a guide.

    Dear *******

Thank you for your email which is receiving our attention.

I see someone else got a response from the same person, but the query was on pricing of an item and she told them to use price checker! :rotfl:
