Tesco/Asda pricechecker finds here.......

I think that is fair comment. I am far from a Tesco fan (believe me) but this promotion has highlighted just how similar they are in price.
If Tesco have let themselves down it is by doubling the price to offer BOGOF. I think we'll soon see the end of BOGOF.
Unfortunately Asda have done the same, i seem to remember the muller yoghurts a while back, they'll do underhand things at one time or another to make themselves seem better...well thanks for rant but when have i put asda on a pedestal, nowhere have i mentioned asda being the cheapest, i was simply stating thats lots of other shops are cheaper. tbh i shop online with tesco every week finding the bargains and sticking to a budget
i have only done one small shop for the dtd resulting in 32 quid voucher
It wasn't just you i was aiming that at and it was the fact that you said we were all realising that Tesco is the most expensive when for a fair few of us it isn't....
You've jst got to ba a savvy shopped that's all and mysupermarket does come in handy to give you an idea

How do you got about returning please? Before or after using your voucher and showing your receipt?

so if they sign new receipt we cant use the new voucher? what we meant to do with it?lol guess we could always use it for loo roll as there seems to be none of this on offer lol****UPDATE - DTD****
just went to use a £20 DTD voucher at a local store. i did another DTD shop (before you ask madmuppet5, i did buy a pack of lamb!) and bought some other bits 'n' bobs.
SA at till got a senior supervisor; querying about the time difference (12/24 hour clock). the supervisor went to ring tesco HQ with regards to the time difference. i knew there'd be nothing wrong so wasn't worried.
came back within 2 minutes, she apologised and put the voucher through. BUT, she said that the new policy is to sign both the old receipt and the new receipt! i questioned this, what if i wanted to return an item?
her answer? she said you could return an item, no problem (they sign on the same line as the product). her reason for signing the new receipt was to prevent me using that again for a new DTD voucher.
seems like a reasonable way to stop the recycling of DTD vouchers and receipts.
this is obviously not nationwide atm, but as word/news/memos get sent to tesco employees, i can imagine most of you will be encountering this fairly soon.

****UPDATE - DTD****0 -
So are they really stopping us recycling our DTD vouchers then???
well we've had several suggestions of what is going to happen with this latets tesco 'offer' - e.g. offer only valid for clubcard users, offer being pulled soon etc.
but this idea does seem to be the best; it should stop people reusing their vouchers all the time.:grouphug:

LOL. BTW, how did you manage to get such good DTD for such a low spend? How do you got about returning please? Before or after using your voucher and showing your receipt?
I would use the voucher and receipt first. They return the receipt to you with the time and date circled. You can then use it for returning goods. HTH.Get to 119lbs! 1/2/09: 135.6lbs 1/5/11: 145.8lbs 30/3/13 150lbs 22/2/14 137lbs 2/6/14 128lbs 29/8/14 124lbs 2/6/17 126lbs
