Be warned - you can hit the £100 max.really quickly - 10 bottles of Hardy's wine would have taken you over. BTW is it £100 per person or per household/clubcard (I've read most of this thread and can't say I've seen this spelled out.

Yes it's per household I believe but then again how do they really know if you're not using a clubcard

I paid £9.99 for the Turner Road this lunchtime. Seems to vary from store to store when they are adjusting their prices?

Someone said it was £4.99 and should have been changed today back to £9.99. I would go back to get a few bottles but can't be bothered with the hassle of debating it with customer services

I think the problem is Tesco are just checking Asda based on one location, and therefore if the items are out of stock at that Asda, Asda obviously remove them from their site for customers of that store, it's annoying as I've had a few things not found when they are available at Asda.com, (for my area, anyway).

Not the case - from the T&Cs

3.Price data used for the Tesco Price Check is obtained from daily web scans of the Asda Home Shopping site.
4.If prices are found to be different across the website postcodes sampled, we have used the most commonly occurring price.

So they are checking multiple locations.

Of course if one of their "checkers" FAILS to find it on one specific search, then they may "remove it" as incomparable and it becomes N/F, that is UNTIL another "checker" successfully finds it on a different search, AND PUTS IT BACK AGAIN :rotfl:

very easy to spend that amount of money in tesco too since we all now know they are the most expensive shop to be shopping at at least we are gaining for now lol

I am getting so tired of these kinda posts...I'm not sticking up for Tesco but Asda isn't the cheapest for everyone and i wish people would stop saying Asda is always the cheapest and putting it on some pedestal...

We are targeting the most expensive items deliberately here, none of the shops any of us on this thread have been doing are weekly or monthly "normal" shops....

    ok rant over...:o
