Tesco/Asda pricechecker finds here.......

Thanks a lot for this!
So the theory is that for any item you buy at Tesco that is sold cheaper at Asda, you get twice the difference back as a Tesco voucher? But this doesn't seem to be the case all the time?
Without the price checker, we have no way of knowing what will be honoured and if at all. Just do your research (on both sites) before you go, and hope for the best.I :heartpuls M.S.E.Mortgage Free 18/01/10 13 years and 8 months early on a 20 year mortgage!

anyone tried this and know how it works?
do you have to return the whole bottle to the store with the reciept?
Sorry if someone has already answered this , but I bought the white stain remover in another supermarket a while back and last week I received the cheque for it so it does work, but you have to be quick as the last day to do this is 31st march. Go to the try me free part of the forum and click on the link fill out the form, print it off and send away for it asap, today if possible.
And you do not have to return anything just put down your reasons why it did not work on the form that you print off. OK! Good luck!0 -

I think Tesco will pull the DTD on alcohol "on moral grounds" as that seems to be where people are getting greatest benefit. T hey could continue the promotion on the other items and still claim to be cheaper than ASDA.0

Hmm wonder what is going on!0 -
Maybe people should take a stepback with this and think before they go spending money they can ill afford. It is like someone said in an earlier post "like playing the stockmarket". Now the pricechecker as gone you do risk losing what you put in.0

I agree. I think they may try to explain it away by saying they are effectively selling at less than cost which I believe is against the Govt guidelines.0 -
