I think you are right. A lot of my friends think that I am mad going for things like this. Well, that is until there is a free bottle of wine! I think the majority of people cannot be bothered with the 'hassle' (friend's words) of saving a few pence. However, if you play the system right, the pennies can all add up, and as Mr T says, 'Every Little Helps'.

Nope, they won't accept B&W vouchers at all, ever, at one of our locals. They are adamant that a B&W voucher is a "photocopy" (this is management level). We've had 20 minute rows over it but they won't budge. Short of taking them to court for defamation (sp?) of character (accusing us of fraud) there is no more we can do.

If you have a phone that is capable you could always test the coupon using a barcode scanner app.

Is this available on Android, bought a San Fran 3 weeks ago but haven't opened the box yet.

No video on my phone :rotfl:

Not a worry anyway, I'd rather use my inkjet and minimise potential arguements in store... the point of my post was to explain to someone why the store may have had trouble scanning their voucher :)

If ever the CS get funny and you know you are in the right, you should ask them to phone head office, i've done it in the past, its really quite satisfying when they over rule them on your behalf :D

    *** DEAL ***

    Gordons & Slimline Tonic 250ml
    PRICE TESCO £1.73
    PRICE ASDA £1.50
    DTD £0.46
    NET COST AFTER REFUND £1.27

Not a biggy, but with the weather as it is, great to have a couple in the bag for a weekend picnic.

Possibly better deals for this in multi-packs elsewhere.

Completely agree... except the store in question refuse to do so

I've tried complaining to CS by phone, tried to get complaints escalated, done everything I could in the past when there have been problems, to no avail.
The only good thing about Tesco building another huge completely unnecessary store in our tiny town (to keep Asda out) is that the new store have great staff who as of yet haven't had any problems with anything I've thrown at them.

If you have the matching receipt then I don't know what their problem is. The stores shouldn't be accepting them without the matching receipt. It is their own fault if they aren't checking.

Use the webpage www.tescocomments.com and make a complaint. Not your fault you don't have a colour printer and it isn't in the TandCs that it has to be in colour.
