Just spent £95.02, hoping to get £90.78 back! Checked all the prices on the checker and on tesco and asda sites just before I left, and checked my receipt and everything went through for the correct amount, so I am hopeful.0

It would not scan at first and the sales person got another lady to come along, they did have trouble scanning it at first but after a few attempt it worked, so not sure of the problem.
I had no issues using 2 vouchers at once.
The problem will be with the printer used to print the voucher. My ancient B&W Laser printer prints vouchers that scan instantly every time, buit my much newer Epson inkjet can cause scanning problems. My local Tesco has a thing about not accepting black & white vouchers so I print online vouchers using the Epson colour inkjet but have to remember to set it to high quality to ensure smooth scanning at the till

I quite like the chat. Makes me feel relatively normal and not alone in my obsession with getting a bargain. To be honest, I wonder if hiding the 'finds' is quite good in case there are any Tesco employee lurkers.0

There really shouldn't be a problem with a readable black and white print as long as the CSA can scan the bardode, if they !!!!! about it, smile sweetly and just ask them politely to try scanning the barcode, if it bleeps and accepts it, smile sweetly again and invite them to kiss your keister :rotfl:0 -

Tesco will be well aware of the price differences, think how many there are and how many people will be paying double the price without even thinking to check...
I heard a couple of people talking about it last night, the consencus was that they couldnt be bothered to do it for the sake of the odd 50pence....TESCO EVERY LITTLE change to the t&cs HELPS0 -

If you have a phone that is capable you could always test the coupon using a barcode scanner app.TESCO EVERY LITTLE change to the t&cs HELPS0 -

Nope, they won't accept B&W vouchers at all, ever, at one of our locals. They are adamant that a B&W voucher is a "photocopy" (this is management level). We've had 20 minute rows over it but they won't budge. Short of taking them to court for defamation (sp?) of character (accusing us of fraud) there is no more we can do.If a post is helpful to you, please take a second to click "thanks", it makes us feel all warm and fuzzy inside!0 -
I think you are right. A lot of my friends think that I am mad going for things like this. Well, that is until there is a free bottle of wine! I think the majority of people cannot be bothered with the 'hassle' (friend's words) of saving a few pence. However, if you play the system right, the pennies can all add up, and as Mr T says, 'Every Little Helps'.0
