Question - Does the voucher go direct to your email or do you have to access it through the Tesco Website.
    Thank you.

    Direct to your e-mail.
I am firmly across the line. I won't impose my values on you if you keep away from mine.

Sorry, I didn't want my question to get lost so I hope someone can help?

I bought some batteries that were in the wrong place so wasn't the right ones, can I return them or is that going to be a problem when I want to redeem my dtd voucher? The batteries are a n/f item so not eligible for cashback but will this cause problems?

Although it should go direct to your email there have been cases where people haven't had the email (auto spam removal feature maybe) but if you haven't had the email you can re-enter the details on the pricecheck website and the voucher will pop up if it has been processed :) HTH

It *shouldn't* cause a problem but all staff at Tesco are different....
You have a genuine reason for returning the batteries (they were not the ones you thought you had bought as they were in the wrong place - maybe a very fussy friend had asked you to buy a very specific item and was dismayed to get the wrong ones, lol)
I need to take back a candle that didn't work on the DTD so I think I'll print out the details on the page that you get to when you click the link in the email so that I can point out it didn't affect the DTD voucher just in case they try to argue it :)

    My next shopping basket goes like this (tonight I reckon);

Buy 13 selected items that I will use anyway and receive a DTD voucher for £51.20 (take list with me in case anything changed on SEL or out of stock).

Use that voucher on Sunday to buy 6x bottles of Montana or Jacobs creek shiraz for £51.24

Give Tesco 4p for the wine.

    Howzat sir!
I didn't do it, nobody saw me do it, you can't prove a thing! ;)

Careful with the Napolina chopped or plum tomatoes! They are 99p at Tesco (disgraceful TBH) and 55p at Asda (proper supermarket!) but they are actually on BOGOF at Tesco (even though no sign to this effect in my local store). Also the Birds Eye Sweetcorn 750g and Birds Eye Field Fresh Country Mix 750g (both frozen) are £1.75 each at Tesco and £1 at Asda BUT they are also on buy 2 for £2 so no deal.

PS BTW, to get over the chance of the checkout operator telling you stuff is on BOGOF just go to the self serve till. I had a barrow load today, queues at every till but no-one at the self serve so asked a 'supervisor' if it was OK to use the self serve - no problem!

PPS I genuinely can't see this lasting without more T&cs being inserted so go for it now!

For the online orders does anyone know if the vouchers are account specific? I was just wondering for if they start enforcing the monthly limit whether you could use a voucher and get the order sent to another address?
  • Another tip: if you are going for the Ainsley Harriott cup soup make sure you get the 80g Scottish Style Chicken & Leek Cup Soup or the Ainsley Harriott premium Cup Soup Mushroom 88g ! These seem to be the only ones that are 50p at Asda! They are actually paying you to have these!
  • Just to let everyone know that the gioiosa Pinot grigio worked for me. Just had voucher, bought 6 bottles, they actually paid me 89p to take them away!!! Must but multiples of 3.:j
