Just to let everyone know that the gioiosa Pinot grigio worked for me. Just had voucher, bought 6 bottles, they actually paid me 89p to take them away!!! Must but multiples of 3.:j

    How so?

is this £6.99 in Tesco = £39.84 after 5% off.
    Asda is it a 3 for £10 offer?, so 6 for £20 = 21.94 less = £43.88 DTD = £4.04 in your pocket.

Please correct me if wrong as I hadn't seen this brand on offer in this thread (and I've read the whole damn thing)
I didn't do it, nobody saw me do it, you can't prove a thing! ;)

I decided to go and do a normal shop to try this out and included quite a few things that I know are cheaper in Asda. I have now entered my details on the website - but reading posts it looks like I should not have put them all through in one transaction? Can anyone explain why? TIA
:)I used to have a life............................... before MSE!!
  • My bill says 6 x £6.49 = £38.94
    Wine discount = £1.95

So £38.94 - £20.00 (asda's price) = £18.94 x 2 (dtd) = 37.88 plus they gave me back £1.95 wine discount when I bought them = £39.83 - £38.94. = 89p. Hope this is right as I am totally confused after typing it down. Got my money back anyway :j

oh carp - it's £6.49, not £6.99, you are so right, I hadn't understood the 3 for £10 and how it worked in our favour.

Well I finally did my first shop for my DTD, I bought my OH 6 bottles of the Wolf Blass Cab Sv so hopefully will get a nice DTD voucher back. I think I may have to take another trip back as I did not notice the Pinot Grigio and maybe some Rose? The laugh is I don't drink but am planning a summer party so this will be a massive help on the drink front! Thanks again to everyone for posting the best deals, what a great community we have going here!:T
  • QUICK QUESTION.....Pringles are £1.99 BOGOF in Tesco, and are £1 each in asda. How do i get the best out of DTD here? (i really cant get my head round the BOGOF's). Thanks :)

If you bought your shop with some items cheaper in Tesco and some cheaper in Asda then any dtd savings from Asda may be cancelled out by the items that were cheaper in Tesco. It goes off your whole shop not per item. Anything cheaper in Asda should be put through in one transaction and anything cheaper in Tesco should be in a separate transaction to protect the DTD - HTH
  • Quick question as I'm new to this!
If I buy something at Tesco and it is on offer at Asda when you buy 2, do I have to buy 2 from Tesco?
E.g. Dettol Surface Cleanser spray is £2.02 at Tesco, the same in Asda, but on offer as 2 for £2...
    Thanks
 I have this theory that chocolate slows down the ageing process.... It may not be true, but do I dare take the chance?
