Spent my 5 min declutter in LR sorting out old paperwork that I had organised for sorting weeks ago. A lot has been recycled and shredded and old stuff stored elsewhere for now. A quick question though, thanks to guys on this thread I have paperwork stored for the correct time but what about old paperwork ie for a mobile contract I no longer have and statements from an old finance deal?

  • Hi Sockdrawer - well done on your HHC :) Sorry, my sister came over and I got sidetracked so no chance to post until now...
    In my HHC I

swept and mopped conservatory floor (which was disgusting )
washed up a few bit that didn't fit in the dw
dusted the family room part of the kitchen
cleaned the windows in the kitchen
emptied the bin (which is where I think he smell was coming from as it is gone now - I have no clue what was put in there to make it smell though  )

Thats about it. I am going to hoover up the stairs now and put away the ironing from yesterday. I will get out in the garden today :p

WM on second load and lunch being made now. School rang, so DS2 collected as he has a sore head and had a bit of a rash on his forehead. I think the rash appeared because he was crying... So he's away for a snooze and then i'll make him lunch when he wakens and give him some more meds.

Gonna brush the kitchen floor while i wait for my bacon to cook. :D
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

    AAAAAAAAGGGGGGGHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've just spent the morning tidying up DD2's bedroom, and scrubbing vomit off her floor for about the 4th morning in a row! She manages to miss the receptacle which I've put in her room, and instructed her to use. There's some kind of tummy bug going round. She's fine apart from at night time when she just throws up (usually in the middle of the night).

Tidying her room is a major project too. She's worse than a Womble. At least they made good use of the things that they found. DD2 just makes a mess with it all.

Anyway, that's off my chest now. Off to finish vaccing the stairs, then it's a well-deserved large pot of tea :D

Well - my HHC was a mix of clean and cook. Hob now not disgusting. Mince prepped for Lasagne and sausages simmered as per Mothership. BM on. DW loaded. Not too bad really.
