For some reason my plug is not stopping the water draining out of the sink, which is a PITA, since I have to wash the wok and finish the bits of the hob that come off. I've also dusted and swept the hall and stairs.

I'm off work poorly today so am taking it very easy.

WM x 2 of soft furnishings from the LR drying on the line - very sunny but very cold.

Stuck the oven shelves into the oven mate bag as its a long long time since the oven was last cleaned. I'll wash it all down this afternoon and do the other bits from the kitchen list so I can do my least favourite room today and free up a day at the weekend, if I feel up to it that is

  • Ive been abit naughty and havent started the kitchen yet!!! But I have

    hoovered and mopped lounge floor
    hoovered and mopped hall
hoovered and mopped down stairs loo
    hoovered both sets of stairs
wiped down woodwork in the lounge
    polished lounge
    put cushions in the wash
    scrubbed the loo
    polished the mirrors

So doing all that means that the whole of the middle floor is clean, tidy and clutter free :D and anyone can pay me a visit (they just cant go into the kitchen!):rotfl:

Going to declutter a coffee then start on the kitchen!!! I hate the kitchen!! Even though I have all the mod cons it always looks like a sh1thole!!!

Good news, eldest son and youngest daugher were in Orkney over the weekend for the Scottish Community drama awards and their theatre group won. They're really pleased, particularly as the group had written the play themselves. Very chuffed for them.

    Morning all!

Lovely weather here today, and I was up nice and early to appreciate it today as I had to take my car to the bodywork repair place at 7.45am. Moon and I then went into town to have breakfast before I dropped him at work in his car (I hate driving his car, but needs must as the bodywork place don't have courtesy cars).

I was home by 9am, so I decided to hoover the bedroom under the bed (I have to get down on hands and knees and use the hand attachment as the bed is low to the floor and the main hoover part won't fit under it), and dust down the surfaces with the hoover too. I've also aired the bed and bedroom by having the window open, and have remade the bed again. Then I emptied the dishwasher and put a load of washing in the machine, and I'm currently airing the back bedroom as the windows are a bit mouldy from condensation :o (need to go in there and wipe them down in a minute too).

I need to leave for work early this afternoon as the school I'm going to is in a very narrow street with parallel parking on both sides, and only a car width in between them, and I'm not sure I'll be able to parallel park Moon's car, so will find a less busy road and walk from there (the exercise will do me good too) as the weather is nice, so I'd better start getting into my work clothes soon.

Hope everyone is well, and hugs to Mrs Chaos and JoJo (in case you need them), and spoons and healing vibes to toots and LadyL (hope you're both ok as not heard from you for a while?).

Happy flying to all flybabies and fully fledges flyladies.

    sexymouse xx

Haven't done too badly yet. Loop man rang to arrange it being put in, he's coming monday. He can't hold off so i need to shift with the room change. My plan is friday to empty the room and make a start on filling the walls. Hopefully saturday sparky will come out and do his bit. Monday morning get the ceiling painted and loop put in by lunch time, then i can make a start on the walls. By the end of the week i should have the bedroom painted and i can get the wallpapering started and order her blind.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.
