    Just received a call from a lady on an 0800 number telling me I can have the phone for £149, cancel it or could hear about alternatives.
    I said the 2 customer service advisors I had spoken to when ordering & confirming a delivery date had told me they were aware of the misprint but that they were honouring this at £99 - her reply was;
    'we have been in touch with trading standards and they have told us we are doing nothing wrong, we don't have to honour that price as it was a mis print' :eek:
    Interesting. Not happy about it, wish I'd have called when I first saw the post, but I hesitated :rolleyes: Cancelled here too

    I to had a call last night from Freemans offering me the above. How can they give a so called £50 accessories pack away with the phone for £149? All I wanted was the phone, so I told her I did not want the accessories pack, so knock the £50 off and she refused point blank. I expalined that I was a new customer, she apologised and I closed my account.

    I will not shop with them again and hopefully all the greedy ones who ordered 8 at a time did not receive theirs. Mine was my christmas present from my husband and we would never normally of paid that much for a phone, so looks like I have just missed out!

    Thanks anyway :mad: to the op.

    I also paid by Credit card and card hasnt been debited and no account number to track order-has anyone been called who paid by card or is it just those who created an account? Lady did say was still showing at £180 for 2 Pink E900 whats lightly odd to me is that I reckon the amount of cancelled orders now from all those on here and HUKD will outweigh the sales/profit they would have got if they stuck to the original £99. Their loss as much as ours!

    The thing is, it quite obviously wasn't a printers error - It was a data entry error at some point, due to the "misprice" being in the catalogue AND on their website. I'm pretty sure they should be honouring the deals in that case, but good luck getting them too. I haven't had a call from freemans yet, but I'm expecting one - will cancel, and inform them I will never shop with them again, nor will my friends or family if I have anything to do with it.

    I got the phone call last night offering same deal, but I said no. Was a bit disappointed as I have been a Freemans customers for years and had also placed a order for clothes when I ordered the phone, oh well will check out the sales in January might get a better offer somewhere else.

    To be fair that sounds like a problem specific to your sister's phone alone - the only problems I've seen reported of them is that people find it takes time to get used to the touch sensitive keys....

    no what she said is likelty to be true. all of my friends who has this phone complained that the touch sensitive part is very annoying and all regretted buying it. when they heard that i'm getting it they were very discouraging and told me to cancel the order despite the low price. They think it's not worth it and a waste of money but i felt it couldn't be that bad. Some of them said the D900 is what the E900 should have been.

    Hi,
    I agree that the phone is extremely sensitive to touch...i can be in the middle of a text and it just goes back to menu....very annoying :mad:

    BUT... still is IMO a great phone..well worth £99 but possibly NOT £149- 199
    You just have to give yourself time to practice with it to get used to it.

    Agree, it is incredibly frustrating but I'm hoping as I get used to it things will improve (or maybe my fingers are just too fat!:rotfl: ) I reckon this phone is better suited to left-handed people as texting with your left hand you don't have the problem of brushing the 'back' or 'clear' keys. Also, you can't text comfortably with the right hand while the charger/earphones/usb are plugged in. Daft. :rolleyes:
    If I hadn't seen such riches, I could live with being poor...

    Had no problems at all with mine and I know a few people who have the black model, no problems with theirs either
