You can then take off £6 for Quidco, making it £93, plus a lot of people will have managed to use a code getting it done to an average selling price of about £90, assuming some did not use a code successfully or Quidco. The've got to pay for the delivery too. Plus some people will take it on the interest free payments, which they have to fund as well.
There isn't that sort of mark up, if there was, people with lower overheads would undercut them.
My view is that, it is on the run up to Christmas, it is their mistake in their catologue and they have decided they don't want the bad publicity. They'll take a hit, hopefully get some new customers and a bit of good PR in the run up to Christmas period.
Grattan/freeman are not a registered charity and you can be sure that they wouldn't honour these at a loss.
but its a win win situation, we all get phones at half price, they get loads of happy new customers.0 -
Mine came 2 hours ago, really really pleased with it :j0

Just remind us how much it costs to make a phone again?
The technology is already there so you will be amazed at what shops can bulk order these for.0 -
Just to confirm that the phone is locked to O2 (as mine is). Any way, it's a good price even for a locked phone. Thanks OP again.Titch0

Woo hoo my phone came today - only ordered it Tuesday. Its more a metallic red/orangey colour than it is pink but still lovely and for £79.99 (got 20% off with discount code) I am definitely not complaining. Great start to the weekend :j :j0

The MSISDN number is the phone number:DDear Lord,
I pray for wisdom to understand my man, love to forgive him and patience for his moods, because Lord, if I pray for strength, I'll beat him to death. :rotfl: :mad:0 -
Thank you - I would never have gotten that - have been through the box and contents about 3 times looking for it. Doh !!:rotfl:0
