If you phone them they will say it does not apply to electrical items/mobiles etc.

Not sure why it didnt work for you. Maybe someone has used it before in your house?

It means they have reserved it for you

i just ordered 2 on freemans online and they automatically took 20% off making 2 for £160 and I paid straight away with credit card, stock says reserved , order online said within 9 days.

This sort of thing has happened time and time again. You're all getting giddy over nothing, no one is going to recieve these. Everyone will be getting letters and emails soon saying your order has been cancelled. Then we'll have another 25 pages moaning about it!

I bought 2 on the grattans website, added the code, got the confirmation and the price says £199.98
Does this alter later or should it of shown straight away?

I'm having the exact same problem.

Some people are saying the 20% discount is being applied automatically, but when its not doing anything for me. I've tried starting over 3 times.

I'm sure i read on Grattans site that discounts don't show up on the order page or the confirmation email, But it will show up on your statement.
