Got to speak to them today when they rang and I told them I wasn't interested and please take me off the database. The lady said its the money club though did you know that and I said yes I know and I'm not interested. She asked if I had been called before and I told her lots of times, she sounded like she knew and she did seem nice and said she had taken my number out of the database right then. They just work for them I guess, she didn't sound too happy in her work anyway I kind of felt sorry for her. Anyway no calls since then and that was this morning.
see being polite clearly works, asking to be removed from a database does seem to work - just try it withabix..........:rotfl:0 -
Strange how jayne-thomas and Raoul LeDuke both seem to object to being disagreed with...

Why? If you are TPS registered, they are DELIBERATELY committing an offence the first time they phone you. They can't accidentally forget to check the register before phoning you - they are legally obliged to do it. They DELIBERATELY ignore the TPS register. Hence there is no reason to be polite about it.
Similarly, Do you ask people politely not to carry out other offences like fraudulently emptying your bank account, robbing you or stabbing you in the chest. No. Didn't think so...British Ex-pat in British Columbia!0 -
This 01392686000 is the money club and Ofcom are aware of them If you ring them on 01793 733 733 and tell them that unless they stop you will tell ofcom that they are still using silent calling they will delete your number0

I think theyre the same or they work for the same company0 -
If they phone, try and get their details and report them it will stop them doing it to countless others. They will often disappear before giving the information, but companies need to learn to abide by the laws....0
