Flutterby, glad you are feeling better and well done on going to the dentist. (not my fav place either).
    Go you Tru!
Congrats to the exam results and glad everything went ok Halight.
Work today, took a salad for lunch. Came home and cleaned my bedroom and two of the bathrooms, DD can do her own! Hoovered all through and dusted so I can relax on a Friday night. DD has done the ironing and the washing is beginning to get under control.
Cauli cheese for me for tea and mac cheese for DD and pal.

Have a good night all, take care. XX

    Good Evening All

Terrible news today, our thoughts and prayers are with everyone affected.

Phew glad it is the weekend, it has been a long hard week. Exciting end though we have booked to go to the Cambridge Folk Festival, we are going with friends. This will be our holiday this year so plan to make the most of it. Must find my posh camping wine "glass".

    Have a great evening everyone.

    Evening all!!

Can anyone here recommend somewhere to find walks local to me. I've set myself a walking challenge and want to go somewhere new with the pup each saturday and build up my fitness.

Not much OS going on today, have broken the cycle and only do pack lunch (both OH and I) so sacing money there.

Pup is onmy the sofa with me, head on my lap, fave toy in his mouth watching crufts. He's SO cute!

    Evening everyone

I'm late on here again. Been fine here but mainly cloudy. Have been watching the news about Japan, my thoughts and prayers are with their families. Tru glad to hear your friends ds is ok.

Os today weekly shop done, wm on & hung out now on airer. Sofa hoovered under all cushions, it was yuk. Wooden floors havebeen vacumed too. Dog walked for nearly 2 hours today, met loads of other dogs including guide dogs in training, he had a whale of a time and was very tired when we got in. Dw is loaded and will switch on shortly. Also picked up ds2 prescription.

NPM - my ds2 is on melatonin, when I collected his prescription today he told me he had had a letter from health authority, that the melatonin is being withdrawn by nhs, when I asked
if he knew why, he said that it is too expensive to prescribe. He thinks I may have problems next month getting a prescription from my Dr. Not sure if this is every health authority or not. I don't think I could cope going back to late nights with him again and then him being tired in the morning. It has definately made a difference to our lifes.

Flutterby - hope the antibiotics are now working and you are feeling better.
JG - meant to say yesterday, you looked fab, well done you.
    Tru - stay strong ((hugs))
halight - Glad the funeral went well.

Yesterday I had a bird in my garden that was stood on something eating it, realised when the feathers started floating in the air it had killed another bird, after checking my Internet realised it was a sparrow hawk, it was about 4ft away from my French doors. I felt quite sad that it had killed another bird, but it is it's natural behaviour I suppose.

Enough of my rambling. Enjoy the rest of your evening. Hugs to anyone that needs/wants one. Take care.

    Evening all,

Thanks for the thought Jackieg....all ok, but they are in Shikoku and Kyushu, so good distance away from Sendai...news an hour ago said over 1000 dead, Japan is such a densely populated country I fear it may be many more, they are pretty good on earthquake stuff as they have them so often, the tsunami is what in so unpredictable....saw some areas of California affected to-night, nephew1, brother and DS2 are in Oxnard north of LA, but are ok. Puts all our worrying about money in perspective.

Rotten day here, drizzling rain and freezing cold all day, had to put on lights at 4.30, which really annoys me as I am so mean..... DGS2 here for dinner and asked for spag bol, we had meatballs in sauce with the spag as I had the meatballs in freezer, so very easy dinner.

OH very cranky to-day, even more so than usual so think that he may not be feeling well, won't hear what is wrong for at least a few days....if I don't strangle him in the meantime. I used to think that small children were time consuming!

Nothing much happening here....too cold to go out in garden but will have to do so next week....want to plant spuds by 17th if possible.

Hoping to go to Sardina in May for a week, nice and quiet then and weather should be better than here. Have looked at flights and second week seems cheapest, will book over weekend.

Hugs to all in need or want of one....or several.

    Stay warm, sleep well.
