Thanks all - The antibiotics are kicking in already, I feel better and have an appetite now! I hadn't eaten for 24 hours bar half a yogurt. But have just managed a banana and think I'll attempt some pasta later.

    sorry if I've been moaning!

    Hello :hello:

My friend's son is in Japan (landed there a couple of hours before the earthquake) and she can't get through to him. Hopefully he's OK.

Welcome to the New Me :D

    I have a new -

Attitude. Mr tru has AGAIN done the thing which makes me feel rubbish, but I've decided it's his problem, not mine. If he can't/won't stop - just for now, til I feel better - even though he knows how I feel, then he can't care about me too much can he? Those non-caring ways are a two way street. I know he's noticed all the non-ironed clothes in his wardrobe. I know he's noticed that I haven't bought his fave food.

Blog. Only a couple of posts so far, though :D

Body. Slight exaggeration there, I've lost just over 4lb :D But I've made a start.

Job. It's only a day a week at the mo, but probably will go up to 3, then full time in school hols. I'm meeting with the bosses on wednesday, and will start sometime in April.

Flutterby, I'm glad you feel better :) I need the dentist but refuse to go til A) I have some money and B) my front teeth start to wobble and fall out :D

The day is done--home to relax and listen to a few good tunes on radio 2(other decent shows are available)--its the all request show on friday evenings-my favourite to get me thinking of the uk and all that your doing as the weekend comes!

İ have had a short day with only 2 lessons but we have been planning our end of year show so no spare time!

Some acquaintence on another site has posted me some lovely pics of a holiday villa he wants to sell--it looks great and a bargain so the temptation is burdening me again--its 45k for 4 bedrooms and virtually new.--i have to consult the boss as she will have the final say-its not in a place we know much about and it is a bit further than our current place so extra fuel cost!-sounds good though!

DD is home DH is coming home so we will all be home and snug as a bug soon--the heating is on and the shutters are all down so the world is distant!--i am on the raki but once this bottle is consumed i am giving alcohol up and getting back down the gym. İ need alcohol to destress me but if i can get to the gym it has the same affect on me--i have been dodging it for months now and i am all out of excuses! the new membership contract is due soon and the weather is getting warmer so all positive--on the negative is i have put 2lbs on over the past 14 days and i see it as the beginning of steady slide because i can pile it on once the flood gates open!i put 10lbs on in a month while i was back in the uk in the summer!!
    mfw'11 No68- 55k mortgage İO--little to nothing saved! i must do better.
