It is Slapped Cheek Syndrome :(
So I've had to ring my friend who I sat next to for an hour last week who's pregnant that she's got to get to her Dr's for a blood test :(
I also need to get hold of my other friend who I saw 2 weekends ago as she'd been inseminated the week before for IVF and warn her. She doesn't even know if she's pregnant :(:( What a mess.

H is now developing the rash nicely at work, lets hope he doesn't end up with arthritic symptoms in his joints or we won't get anything done

So lots of guilt all round for me. I know there isn't anything I could do about it but that doesn't stop me worrying about my friends.

Ho hum I wonder if I could manage some baking to cheer myself up?!

NPM - Hope the Melatonin helps Noah. he must be so chronically sleep deprived. Be interesting to know if this help his mood at all. Hugs for you - feeling bad seems to part and parcel of being a mum.

Flutterby - Hope the dentist can sort you out xx

lowesy - Both mine seemed to have constant hiccups, bizarre feeling!

Don't feel bad Bitsy - you didn't plan to get a virus and potentially spread it! I prescribe some nice cake and a cuppa xx

    QUOTE]

try not to panic, one of my twins had slapped cheek when i was pregnant, and i was tested (and nearly passed out cause i have awful veins and it took them 5 sttempted :( ) but most people are immune to it anyway from having it as kids as it wasn't aswell known back then aparently and most mums put it down to a fever, i didn't have it but i was told even if i did chances are everything would be fine as i would also be passing antibodies to my baby it would just mean extra scans, even once all teh other syptoms had gone he still had the rash for a good 2 months after, i kept taking him back to the dr but he said it was normal and takes awhile to clear up :(

makes me worry earthquakes living in a place where there are tremors most days--you cant feel them but they are registered on a website--i have only actually been awake once when a big enough one hit--4 plus but there was no damage!-i am not sure if it is the reason people consider property over 30 years too old to purchase. we have improved our 24 year old home so it will last us well beyond its sell by date.i guess at a notional date in the future the place will be demolished and rebuilt with some developer's help!(i must budget it out!) when you rebuild you upgrade with the latest anti- earthquake technology and a lift so the property value leaps by many multiples of the money spent(i hope).-i have finally got my building and contents insured-19 quid a month total payable monthly-it has been unensured for 6 months so its a weight off my mind.

i am gradually getting to the end of my outstanding things to be paid! we havent paid the council tax for 18 months but its only 80quid a year. there is an amenisty this month so i will pay it and not receive any penalty fines!--the same with my wife's national insurance but that has built up to quite a sizeable sum!a thousand odd!--they do these amnesties on the run up to governmental elections to bribe votes.-the polls open in april or may i think!no one knows!

i have a quiet days work--we slept on the sofas last night due to a lack of energy to climb the stairs at 3am!-i just have one more lesson and then its an early finish to go home and knap to be ready for a busy working day tomorrow.-i might see if people think i need a haircut because i feel 'ratty' and might have an hour of pleasure on the way home!
    mfw'11 No68- 55k mortgage İO--little to nothing saved! i must do better.
