Hi all,
I posted this thread sometime ago Does anybody have the same problem as I do? I can't open long threads (those with quite a few (hundreds)). Why is that? and nothing of what you'd suggested worked. Please help. Do you think there is any problem with my pc? I'm really fed up with it.
Many thanks, TAJ

Can you post a link to a thread which causes you a problem?0
-
Is it just on this forum or on any forum?
You could look in usercp and click on options.Maybe you have inadvertantly changed your settings to show only recent threads??0 -

Hello Mr Squiddy,
There is a list of links I have been having a problem with. These are from DFW site only.
Please, any suggestion how to sort this out.

Try this...
Go to Edit Options, scroll down to Thread Display Options & change the settings there:
Untick all the boxes under 'Visible Post Elements'.
Under 'Number of Posts to Show Per Page' select the 'Show 5 Posts Per Page' option.
Scroll down to the bottom of the page & press the 'Save Changes' button.
Now check to see if the problem persists. G
P.S. Reverse the changes if it doesn't help0 -

I'm glad it helped
.
I thought it may be a bandwith issue. Are you on a slow(ish) Internet connection by any chance? G0 -

Thanks again. No, I have a broadband - AOL Silver.
I couldn't understand myself why I've been having this problem, very frustrating. I'm so glad now. :T :A
It should work on all sites now.

Strange one that!
You can try clearing your Internet cache & reversing the steps above to see if it (namely, 'stale' Internet cache) may have been causing the problem.
If you use a browser other than IE, please let me know. G0
