I have to fess up for this one, I spent £1 on a latte and a chocolate bar yesterday.
I'm heartily ashamed of myself
If I don't meet an old friend for coffee today, it will be a No Spend Day.
£1 for a latte and a chocolate bar is quite a bargain round my neck of the woods! Sorry, that's not helping is it?!
good luck with the NSD today, I've got some top-up shopping to do:
fruit loaf
grapefruit
tinned tuna
think that covers everything!
payday tomorrow for me, and since i have now got into the habit of writing my spends down I'm hoping February will be my first month within budget for a while.Debt Oct 2005: £32,692.94

Sorry I'm lagging a little behind with the postings on the challenge thread, I'm snowed under at work and have been logged off MSE at home, so i need to find my password again.
Hi Tondella
Don't apologise! I am in awe that you have managed to produce this challenge at all - it is brilliant! Big pat on the back for you.

Re. the freezer - I think I know what is there but will go and have a route round - I have a feeling there is still some french bread from the summer - am guessing that is probably past its best - maybe the birds would appreciate it. Otherwise there is meat/fish from the last shop, various frozen veg, some milk, bread and sandwich rolls, and a bag of ice cubes!
Will have a good sort out.

Okay bit of catching up to do
Day 11 - done took pack lunch to work on Monday and today came home for lunch instead of being tempted by the supermarket cafe :j
Day 12 - Got the journal sorted just need to surf around the forums for some useful hints and tips to put in it. But think the instructions for this thread will be the first items in there as an easy find reminder should I waver from the straight and narrow
Day 13 - Branding - all set to do this on Friday when I do my weekly shop.
Day 14 - 2nd week spends - bit early for me this one as I have had a couple of days where I have skipped to the next instruction as I was already doing that days. But logged in my diary to do.
Day 15 - Budget - this will be a big one for me as its something I haven't done. However, have started with Moozies Sun-Fri Challenge for my personal spending and managed to stay in budget last week so thats a start. Will think about a shopping budget as that is where the majority of my money goes each week.0 -

I've asked for it to be stickied, so it should stay up there until the moderators decide it has had its day

Day 18 – working nine to file
Am happily filing away my paperwork. Trying desperately to make sure my new employer is paying my wages into the correct account. Just had my account confirmation from them this morning.....
They're not  I have sent them the correct details.
My current employer has just got it right in time for my last paycheck."Tomorrow is always fresh, with no mistakes in it." (Montgomery, L.M.(1908). Anne of Green Gables.)

Okay so...
Well I found some very nice fish in the freezer so I've had that with a jacket which was getting a little sad.
