Well I found some very nice fish in the freezer so I've had that with a jacket which was getting a little sad.
Have left mother making a list :rotfl:
your poor mum! Does she actually know that she is a fly baby, or are you just commanding her about without letting her in on the scheme?!!:DDebt Oct 2005: £32,692.94

Oops - missed day 20. But have pretty much got my outgoings sorted - have a spreadsheet with a detailed budget based on the last few months bank statements and our spending diary. This includes putting money away for certain things that don't crop up each month (e.g. Christmas, kennels, clothes, presents etc). Along side each proposed amount I am recording actual spending this month and will adjust the budget if I've forgotten anything.
Think we are getting there.
So onto Day 21 .... have 75p left in my budget! Should last till tomorrow.
Off to put my feet up!0 -
Hi all
How is everyone doing?
Do we have any more challenges?
Keeping up with all the current ones - and trying to make as much extra money as possible!0 -
Hi everyone, sorry for the temporary halt to the challenges, I've had this flu thing that has been going around, and have spent the last four days in bed
I'll be posting the next set of challenges online today, hopefully everyone can manage to pick up where they left off.

Poor you! Hope you are feeling better now - I know how awful those bugs make you feel. No rush for the challenges - we can all keep doing the earlier ones until you are up to posting the next lot.0 -
I wish, my other challenge is a Fat free wannabe
Day 19 – frozen waste-nots
I've been defrosting like a trouper, homemade soup, frozen veg and wholemeal rolls. My Jacket potato experiment worked a treat.
I cooked the other weekend for the household as I had a friend staying over. I made homemade quiche with Jacket potatoes. I cooked extra potatoes then froze them (I don't like fully microwaved potatoes), after defrosting overnight then reheating they were just as yummy as though fresh from the oven. Whoohoo. So oven on only once and as many Jacket potatoes as you've room to freeze. You can also freeze baked Quiche bases too.
Day 20 – it’s my affair
I have an SOA but it does need updating, so I'll get to it and post it into my diary.
Day 21 – hey big spender!
Fell of the wagon a little bit so had some unnacounted for spendings, did go over my budget but not sure by how much. Was annoyed at myself. But am back on the wagon.
Just an extra thanks to Tondella for all her hard work and encouragement for this challenge. :T"Tomorrow is always fresh, with no mistakes in it." (Montgomery, L.M.(1908). Anne of Green Gables.)

I hope you're feeling better todayNo longer using this account for new posts from 20130 -
Day 22 - I don't think I have a latte factor, I buy one magazine once a fortnight for £1.80 and apart from that I only buy my once a week lunch (which I might stop for various reasons).
Will keep an eye on it though
Day 23 - I have access to all of my own and the families accounts online nowThe only problem is that I check them too often!

Day 22 – find your latte factor
Sausage sandwich, sausage sandwich and I say again sausage sandwich. These cost £1 or £1.25 if I have mushrooms. This week I bought a box of 8 cereal bars from Lidl for 99p. I have been eating one of these in place of my sausage sandwich. Obviously 8 times cheaper and a lot better for me. So I'm quite pleased with that."Tomorrow is always fresh, with no mistakes in it."
