I'm not, nor is this article saying that ALL FTBs cannot buy. Your missing the point and the article entirely.

On AVERAGE, let me repeat that again, on AVERAGE FTBs cannot buy in a macro term. If you are willing to provide links to evidence the incorrectness of this article asserting such a statement I'd be interested and willing to listen.

Otherwise you all personal opinion - which as we have already established is a micro (individual) basis and thus BIAS and IRRELEVANT for the topic of discussion.

hah, I love it when people can't see past the decoration of a place.

Friend of mine bought an UTTER wreck, my favourite bit about it was the motorbike engine in the kitchen that had leaked oil all over the floor. She was made up with it though, and over a period of 4 years she's turned it into a beautiful place and increased the value by a fair whack.
