hi there sorry i havent been on here for ages but i have been reading all posts and its really good to know that there are people out there that are doing there best to name and shame these people (if you can call them people) and trying to get to the bottom of all there lies.

Can anyone advise me with a proper debt management firm i could get in contact with, where im not gonna get ripped off again. I have been trying to sort my money problems out myself along with coming to terms with dcm going into addministration and me never seeing my money again but i am really struggling now with all the letters coming in the post. I was with dcm for nearly 7 years and they didnt sort anything out for me even when they told me on the phone some creditors had been paid off, they hadnt. I could really do with some friendly advice please......

I was with DCM for 10 years and I know how you feel.
I have gone with Abacus who are part of the Cleardebt group and they are not charging (got the name from the administrator) DCM clients.
One of their Directors has posted on this thread.
They have been terrific and everything is running smoothly although it took a while to get to the bottom of the DCM mess, and I have had regular statements and no threatening letters.
I deal with a consultant called Alan Dolan but whenever I have rung everyone has been helpful and always sorted things out for me.
DCM 'records' were of course of little help with no account numbers or proper details of creditors but I am much happier now that I know the exact position.

    CCCS or PayPlan

Both of those are free and recommended by many other advise services. e.g. CCCS are the agency that CAB are going to 'partner' with when formally run DMPs are needed for their clients.

Just had this from an informant

    it reads

    "Hi,

I know it may be nothing but you may want to pass it on to the relevent people. Sentley Wilson seems to have connections in Ireland (suspect he may flee there) and is driving round in an irish registered Range Rover (how the other half live!). I can try and get the reg number if needed.

    Regards"

As useful as a "chocolate teapot" comes to mind when reading that letter.

Yes chocolate teapot sums is up to a TTTTTTTTTT
His concern is quite underwhelming but are we surprised?
Nobody seems to give a monkeys and all this 'aware of,investigating, draught guidance, standards expected' etc is not worth a cup of cold sick.
As Mike has shown it appears the slippery Mr.wilson has plenty of contacts and an escape route.
