:(Guys im there with you joined DCM in 2004, they suggested a dmp they said that i owed £57,000 and promised to get me out in 5 years, 7 years later i was still paying. They contacted me after 5 years and said that they could no longer promise to get me out it would take a little longer
Last year i had surgery which meant that i could no longer work and contacted them with regard to other options only last week. They told me i was still in debt to the tune of around £36,000, which i told them this could not be correct given that i have paid them over 7 years the sum of £34,000 so i was expecting to be in debt of £23,000. I went away to check but then i had a phonecall late at night from my sister whom is also with them saying they had gone into administration
They have provided me with statement indicating that they have paid my creditors to the tune of £33,000. The figure just dont add up. There is £12,000 which cant be accounted for. The only way in which i could be in debt by £36,000 is if DCM have been telling me that they have been making payments when indeed they havent.
I will be on the phone to the OFT in the morning together with nottingham trading standards. ANYONE GOT A NUMBER PLEASE.
I have spoken to another company they are confused why i was on a DMP i should have been on a IVA but in 2004 there was only 4 companies that had an IVA license, they would not have made any money apart from an introductory fee then they passed me onto an IVA specialist.
My only option now is bankruptcy so all i have to say is thankyou DCM hope their directors rot in hell, they have fed of all of our combined misery.
Something needs to be done about this, why is this not national news after reading everything i do not understand:mad:STILL IN PURSUIT OF THOSE RESPONSIBLE, NEVER GIVING UP. SEMPI FI.0 -

Hi All
been on the case again today, phoned consumer direct and Companies House. Companies House think that DCM are still in business but told me that it can take 14 days for them to be told of a firm going into administration, so watch this space next week because I will ring them again and post the result. Spoke to Experian and they say that the directors don't have to post details of their own address necessarily. Consumer Direct were very helpful and put me onto the National Debt Helpline a charity who do DMPs for free, so I will look at this one and post the results.
As far as phoning the Police is concerned I think we will have a hard job simply because none of us knows how much has been stolen. Bear in mind that the offence is actually obtaining money by deception, so perhaps if enoug of us go to the Police they might at least have to investigate.0 -

The problem with the police is any debt matters is regarded by them as a civil matter and hence why they try not to get involved.
This is totally wrong in my mind as laws have been broken which could include fraud so yes you need to do it en-mass and research what laws have been broken then make that clear to the police.
That may get you all the result you require.
I also think you all should be approaching a solicitor many will give you a free hour which can be used to see where the law stands and whether they think you have a case to bring.

hi all
i stumbled on this thread after email failure notice and unable to contact dcm today.
They have taken a lot of people's money, after i found out they had gone in to admin i went on to my bank account to cancel standing order to find they had already taken this months money (two days early)if they went into administration last week as some are saying, how can they still take money from your account.
I was having a few letters recently from creditors and when i phoned and queried dcm they said they had paid them and that due to the economic climate debt company's were trying it on to try and grab extra cash.
I have been with dcm for three years on monday, started with a balance of £13,000,dread to think how much i now owe, worked out i have paid dcm just over £7,500(not much compared to some that have posted but alot for me).
Don't know where to turn next,is it a matter of waiting for creditors to contact me , i think i have two ccj's, what will happen to them?
My thought's go out to all the other people who have trusted the company to try and get there lives in order, and will keep checking to see what the news is on here.0 -
I've been a client of DCM for 9 years and still not sorted.
Everything worked well at first but over the past 2 years I have had to chase them every month as payments werre NOT being made to my creditors.
6 weeks a gop I was promised a refund of monies in my account but of course it never arrived even though I was told it would be with me by 1/3 and agfter days of trying to contact I find the administration notice.
HOW do we find out who the administrators are?
what to do now.0 -

It takes a while for the administrators information to show up online.
It's worth checking on here regularly.

Use advanced search and enter DCM Money Solutions.
They will show up when the offical notice is published.
You do need to get together as much as possible.
If you haven't read the CCE threads on Overseas Travel on here they will be an eyeopener.
Millions involved, directors have been arrested and are on bail so if there is fraud involved the police are interested
Edit Link to the CCE threads.
