  • Hi
I spoke to company house and office of fair trading yesterday and informed them, they took my details asked how long I had been with dcm,how much I was paying them, I was given a reference number to keep to give to the administrater when we are informed of who they are. Im not holding my breath as too if I get my £6000 back:(. Phoned and spoke to 2 of my creditors who have not been paid since 2009!! Just checked web site and dcm is now closed down..

I have been a customer of this 'company' for a few years, yes I know they are fee paying, more fool me.
I've been trying to contact them the last few days and now their website says they are in Administration.
Does anyone have any more information on this ?
    I'll be ringing CCCS tonight.

Is that the place to go then 'The office of Fair Trading' ?
I'm sort of lucky in that early last year I was nearly made bankrupt due to DCM's bungling ways and I requested all the money I had 'saved up' with them, which they returned. I was able to pay off that particular debt, but carried on paying them (like a fool) so there's a years worth of money with them maybe.
  • These people must be classed as the lowest of the low for fleecing people who are in dire straits and looking to them - and paying them - to help them out of bad situations. I've had doubts about them in recent months: creditors not paid or contacted when they said they had etc.

Struggling to live on a daily basis, everything going up in price, child to support and disabled wife to take care of, i've been paying DCM £200 a month for 42 months now total payments £8400 and today by accident i came across this forum and see that they've gone into administration, in 42 months i've had 4 statements only, of which clearly shows the total payouts to creditors over the last 42 months have been around £400, so where has the other £8000 dissapeared to. They can not be let get away with this if anyone finds out who the administrators are before i do can you please let me know, i've gotta do something to try and get some money back. I thought it odd the other day when i started having threats from creditors for payment... Thank You..
  • Does anyone know the most recent payment made to one of their creditors? I've only had contact from one of mine this year, so maybe payments are reasonably up to date - or am I clutching straws?
  • Well folks, I have been down today to have a look and yes DCM is no more. Spoke to one of the blokes next door and he said it looked like a knee cappers convention outside last Thursday, stuff going out the back door as big blokes were trying to get in the front door. I have been paying them £300 a month for 60 months but good news my CCJs totaling £15 per month have always been paid, so I have only been done for at worst £17100, Oh and by the way I managed to get a charging order on my house into the bargain.

    DCM value for money NOT.

By the way when I phoned the collections companies to arrange direct payment of my CCJs they said I should pay more, I told them to get lost and that I would only ever pay what the courts ordered and not one penny piece more. They tried to get me to set up a DD, LOL, again I declined and have set up a standing order, they then tried to get my phone number, but as you might have guessed I was of course using a friends phone and no I don't have a mobile. Moral of the story is folks, don't let these sharks get your details, pay what the court agreed and watch out for companies like DCM who have preyed on our collective misery.
To the directors of DCM, I hope that your conciences allow you to sleep soundly at night because mine would most certainly not.
  • I think this needs attention to be drawn to it in a major way. I've got a feeling that they didn't pay any of my creditors at all, and it now transpires that they've done a bunk.

My mouth has gone a bit dry- I stand to have lost about 5000 quid here.

    Anybody else?:(

  • I'm in a similar predicament- I'm harbouring visions of a claw hammer in one hand.........

£5000 I've paid them. Two years worth of payment down the drain.

We need to stick together. I get some small comfort in the fact there are more of you out there.

    I feel like a fool.
