morning all, i'm feeling very rough today if this is how my boys have been feeling all week no wonder there grumpy, were having last nights pork for tea tonight, i'm gonna make pancakes with the boys this aftrenoon, i was thinking of adding some cocoa powder and making choclate ones to ahve for pudding with some choclate custard, do you think this will work (will make normal ones for me and oh) and i just got tickets to the quarium for £8.80 for all of us on group-on so i'm happy about that
, you can get a ferry over to it which the twins will enjoy or if it's a nice day we can drive round, makes a lovely day out
think i'll use it over easter, it's lovely here today i'm going to pull myself together and hang out some washing
everyone in here seems tired and cold today, so i hope you all get some sun and restful days

Morning all
Good news the tablets are working, no longer feel nauseous.
Bad news the tablets make me feel so drowsy and numb that I've been ordered home from work for the week
. No way on earth I can drive or function properly at the moment so it's the right decision but I hate being at home ill. And I hate putting people out too. We are such a small team and people are having to cover for me now so I feel like a right pain!
I think I'm going to rest for awhile and see if the drowsyness wears off a bit, then hopefully I can do some of the things that I need to do in the flat that I never get time for like listing stuff on ebay. Plus I could sort my uni files out too.bargainbird wrote: »

ps I've decided not to say anything re my cousin at the moment as I'm not really in a position to help whilst feeling like this. I'll monitor her FB page to see if there is anything that gives it away and see if I can help next week maybe* Rainbow baby boy born 9th August 2016 *

Morning All! DH woke me with a cuppa at 8am today, so a second late start for me! Have been sorting out my emails a bit today. Am lunching with two former colleagues so I expect I'll have a sore throat from too much chattering later! Then three hours tuition followed by a gallop across the county to my evening course. Just realised that that means no pancakes today for us - and DH will be away tomorrow. Oh well, it'll have to be Thursday then! Dh is more miffed than I am I think. I ought to make pancakes more often than once a year - I always mess up the first one!
Lovely sunny day, but very cold still. Am about to sort out which bit of sewing I'm going to resurrect first - I have so many bags with half-finished things in them! Am also committing to Pen - Pen's Lent challenge from tomorrow which should see one crotcheting project and one knitting project finished before Easter! Should also mean I reduce the time spent on here - a very good thing that would be!
Oh well - must crack on a bit. Hope you are all having a good day - ((HUGS)) if you're feeling unwell or sad.
Take care.Resolution:

The handyman who was meant to come Sat just turned up! No phonecall, no notice, nothing. I'm only home cos I'm ill. He has re-fitted the storage heater but he has scraped the laminate flooring more than once  so I have to ring agents to tell them this. He did admit to this though.
I have managed to have a little rest, and feel a bit more awake, but am due to take more tablets at 3pm so no doubt will be drowsy again.
I've started some sorting out in the flat too.
