    Morning everyone :)

Cold/frosty but sunny here today. Got WM on with the first of several loads (way behind again!). Also have lots of clean stuff still to put away - no wonder DH can't find socks - he's not thought to look in waiting-to-go-in-the-drawer pile!!

Tea will be something quick (beans on toast etc) followed by pancakes as I have to leave for my night class at 5.30.

Today's other jobs include pricing up & ordering new bed for DS2 & doing the same for new carpet for his bedroom - he & the littlies are swapping bedrooms.

Got to do stocktake of the freezer today - it's at bursting point but I'm not sure what's past the first layer! :)

See you all soon, hope you all have a good Shrove Tuesday

    A xo

    Morning all

Bright sunshine, clear sky but very frosty here this morning. DH up and off to work at stupid early o'clock. He has a meeting tonight straight after work so he won't come in until 11pm'ish. Got to work yesterday and lots of staff were off sick, 7 across our team, so management had a bit of a panic trying to get enough staff in the correct place. Hoping today won't be quite so hectic.

Dinner tonight will be pancakes for the boys and I'll have jacket sweet potato, fish and veg. Went to parents evening for DS2 he still continues to try hard but has become a little silly in the past couple of weeks, I've noticed his behaviour change in the last few weeks too, not sure what's going on but school will keep an eye out for me.

Want to get the under sink cupboard re-filled tonight so at least the dining table wil be clear of junk. Will be putting washing on line shortly, put a huge load out yesterday whilst it didn't get completely dry it wasn't too bad, just needs to go on the airer. Better than using TD anyway!

Need to put a loaf in BM when I get in from work too.

Not much else to say really, keep safe and well everyone, hugs to those that need them.

Morning all. Looks like a gorgeous day again here. Got 3 loads of washing out and dried yday and will strip the kids beds today and get them done before the rain comes back tomorrow.
Thought dd2 was coming down with something last night. Burning hot. Thank God for paracetamol. Nice and cool today so she will be off to nursery as usual. Chicken pox going around, or as one child called it, 'my wee brother had coco pops!!!'. No spots here yet.

My friend coming over when the kids are at nursery. Pulled some chicken curry out of freezer for lunch and will do cheesy champ and beans for the kids as dh at work. Got to get the floors mopped today. Been dead lazy about this lately as I have a working hoover, so have just been hoovering every day so the floors have been looking clean, but really need a good wash.

Have a good day, whatever you are doing.

    Good Morning All,

HH- it's unbelievable what some peoplee don't know, the mind boggles
RR- I am on the wagon at the moment and feel so much better
BB- love the pancake throwers:D tonight I have found a recipe for low GI ones made with cottage cheese so that I can join in

Cold and frosty but nice and bright I am hoping to get some washing out. Its not drying very well and the weather lady is just saying it's going to rain in Manchester. Might just put it on the maiden.

DS3 needs his cadets uniform washing. He is a bit annoyed he couldn't go on the camp last wkend as his attendance wasn't great, hopefully a lesson learned and he will pull his socks up. Generally totally laid back attitude towards everything including school but he is 14 so hopefully he will grow out of it

DS2 is a bit down in the dumps. He split up with his gf a couple of months ago and I think it's hit him they are not getting back togther. I do worry about him when he gets down, will be keeping a close eye on him, I always worry about boys in particular and depression and 21 is a difficult age

Anyway spoke to DS1 in Australia at the weekend and he comes home on 28th of May and can't wait:jGF will come too so busy couple of months Chez Julie

Money wise things are not good. Have some money to pay back we were not expecting and no wage for me this month so its going to be a tight one.:(

Not going out today will potter, tidy and wash. Tea tonights will be pie and mash for the boys. I will just have pancakes and may make a blueberry sauce yumm

Well better get on, enjoy your day x

    Morning my lovelies :D

Blue sky and sun shine here. But brrrrrrr is cold and frosty!
Tuesdays are turning into a "do something with my mum" day so we are heading to Earlswood lakes for a walk, feed the ducks for DD and call at the local craft centre for a sneaky cup of tea ;)

Depending on when I get back I need to carry on with the usual housework etc.

Not sure what's for tea, need to look at my planner.

Knees are killing me today, wouldn't mind but haven't been doing anything to warrant such stiffness in them so here's hoping I don't have a day where I drop everything as I think that would just about finish them off :rotfl:

Hugs, spoons and high fives all round. Have a good day OS or not.
