Technically, you don't need to indicate when you finish overtaking, and as overtaking is the only reason to be in anything other than the nearside lane, you don't need to indicate when moving from the middle to the nearside lane. (but I always indicate when moving from the offside to middle lane)0

Mirror ,signal, maneuver.
Saves you having to say the sad line " But I didn't see you " afterwards.
If it makes it easier assume every other user on the road is an idiot ...As whenever I see a driver who doesn't signal I assume they are.0
