I always do. Very few others seem to, in either direction.

Not if you're driving a BMW. They are not fitted with indicators.
I used to think that good grammar is important, but now I know that good wine is importanter.

Why would you think you shouldn't?

Yes, unless it's when overtaking a MLOC on the outer lane. They deserve no courtesy.

Indicate only when there's a need to show you intentions, ie, only when it's a benefit to other road users.

Technically, you don't need to indicate when you finish overtaking, and as overtaking is the only reason to be in anything other than the nearside lane, you don't need to indicate when moving from the middle to the nearside lane. (but I always indicate when moving from the offside to middle lane)

    Mirror ,signal, maneuver.

Saves you having to say the sad line " But I didn't see you " afterwards.

If it makes it easier assume every other user on the road is an idiot ...As whenever I see a driver who doesn't signal I assume they are.
