The URL and prize will change each month so will need to be added here along with the new answers.

I just searched and the January comp was posted but Februarys was missed. So I think it's probably better posted as a monthly so we don't miss another one :)
Sorry if you disagree but until we've got hard and fast rules I'm working by my interpretation of the poll results same as everyone else :)

Aaaaaargh! *rips hair out* This is getting me more and more confused...

So... this is a monthly comp... but the URL will be different each month. The prize might be different... The questions might be different...

Then why is the new comp not to be posted on the main board? It'll have a different URL, possibly a different prize and questions.

Does this mean that all comps from now on will end up hidden here in the regular board? Each week ITV has a comp, it will go as a regular weekly comp? Same website, different URL, different question, different prize... how is that any different to this comp?

I've given up trying to understand why a comp that runs once a week, cannot just be left alone on the main board and just bumped once a week... but please someone tell me why this is in the regular boards instead of on the main board? And please also warn me if all companies/websites that offer comps on a regular basis will end up hidden in here (you might as well just list comps by URLs/company names... instead of having a main board and a regular board... as most companies/websites will have a few comps now and then)... so I will know it's time to pack my bags and move onto other comp sites.

Sorry if you disagree but until we've got hard and fast rules I'm working by my interpretation of the poll results same as everyone else :)

I'm sorry but I really think I answered all that in my OP!

All we have to work from is the rules we've been given. As I stated in my OP I have posted this as a regular because, by my interpetation of the rules (in blue below) we have been given this is a regular. To me this is a regular as there is a new comp each month!

It's on regulars because, as a regular monthly comp, it has no end date. And I've not hidden it anywhere either, I posted a linking thread on the main board so everyone can see it!

    SEE THIS THREAD HERE!

One more reason for posting it as a regular was that, aswell as being a regular by my interpretation we missed the February draw as no-one posted it. With it here as a regular it never needs to be missed again. And if someone wants it on main they can post a linking thread in so no-one has to miss it because it's "hidden". AND as a monthly comp the people that DO use the regular stickies will be able to find it quickly and easily each month....if it had a new thread each month that would not be the case

Finally, threads like THIS ONE and THIS ONE and THIS ONE and THIS ONE are posted as one thread with new urls & answers when needed. People seem happy with that and don't compare those to the ITV, etc. comps. So why is this comp I posted any different? I'd really appreciate an answer to that.

    Poll Results

You've had the opportunity to vote and the majority verdict is:
    • All regular comps with end date stay on main board but posters then post link on the regulars board Poll result

    • A regular competition is one that Can be entered on a daily/weekly/ monthly basis with fixed answers for the duration or different answers which can be updated as & when Poll result

That's the whole point... I see no difference to this one and an ITV one. It was posted with an end date on the main forum. Next month, why is not just a new thread posted? It will be a new comp... new URL, possibly new prize and questions.

As for the links you gave to compare with... First link I belive is on the main board, second link doesn't work for me, third link I also belive is on the main board (used to be anyway), and forth link is in Game Over.

    Answer given! lol!

Now I'd still like answers to my questions...

They were examples. (I've fixed the broken link). I didn't say they were current!
Yes they are on the main board but they are posted as one thread with multiple prizes, answers and urls. But with no complaints about why they're not all individual threads. So no, you haven't answered my question in the slightest.

Sorry but I answered both in my OP AND in my reply to you.

I have answered above as best I can as I'm just Joe public same as you! I don't make the rules I just try to work by them. I've said a few times here, on discussions board and to MSEAndrea that they are too loose and open to interpretation. I don't go picking holes in other peoples posts even if I disagree with their interpretation, I appreciate the effort that goes into finding and posting comps!

I apologised when I posted if people disagreed with my interpretation of the rules or my decision.
I gave my reasons. Twice now.
I posted a linking thread on main so everyone would see it and it wasn't "hidden". You can do that each month if you like ;) but at least this way we won't miss another month!

Saw a post in discussions by Amilucky? (Thanks :))

It suggests next time you have a problem with a post you PM a BG and take it up with them so they can sort it out. I think that's a good suggestion.
