Hey inkie, those are good too. I haven't had one in years. I think I may get myself one for 50ps. I don't think it holds as much though, may a good one for me to start saving £2s. Terra are maybe better for gifts because of the way they look. The people I bought them for display them somewhere prominent like a vase.0

Click on those links. Way too expensive for me I get the bean style cans from the £1 shop, can put the £18.99 +P&P I save into the tin. Have to open with can opener so another thing that can't be broken into without destroying it, and if you're careful make a good pen pot afterwards :money:(DUCT Tape over the sharp edges just incase) My neice wants the next one as it is Pooh bear. One I have at the mo is small but the next one (for next £2 save after Xmas) is about 25cm high I think.
Have also seen them in B&M, Homebargains etc.
This online store do them but slightly more expensive. http://www.giftology.co.uk/acatalog/Cash_Can_Extra_Large.html
I paid 10p for the bean size one which was a stop smoking start saving tin which I took label off.
By the way well done powerbase, that's some going in 12 monthsOne day I might be more organised...........
GC: £200
Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb0 -

I googled it, It's a moneysaving pot, like a piggy-bank, but there's no stopper to cheat and raid it.
It has to be cracked to open it.
I'm thinking of getting one for 2007 savings.Official DFW Nerd Club - Member no: 203.0 -

Yeah the pots are expensive but most people I know have them somewhere prominent in their house along side a vase or something. I find them good for something special, christenings, engagements, new house etc. The tin things are great too, I'm going to hunt some out ASAP. Thanks for reminding me about them. I haven't had one in years (I think back them they were more expensive as well).
I think I'll put a tin in with everyones' Christmas present this year. Hopefully I can get designs to suit everyone. Encourage the savings. I will still buy a pot, I'm getting quite a collection. I'll need to get more plants to put in them. Pot is for something big and those tins can be for everyday cash. I love the idea of not being able to get at the cash. Anything that has a way to get in means I will raid it frequently. Next year I'm aiming for £800 total in the pot.
I see someone else is saving for the wii. I'm using some of the cash for a wii (treating myself).
On another note: I should get a free pot for all this advertising I'm doing for terramundi hehe. In true TV presenter style, please note other money saving pots are available.0 -
I know it's not related but have you decided where you are going to buy your wii? The shops don't have their deals out yet. I find with things like that online is not always best, with consoles you normally get better deals in shops though play did look good but they are all sold out. Any suggestions?0
