Hi thanks for your replies regarding the whisks, I am just going to pick DS3 up from school now and will have a ride into town and search. Good idea with the flake, wont have to buy them until near xmas though,as being a very organised person(not) I bought chocolates for other presents and in moment or two of desperation I have eaten them all:eek: and I wonder why I have no clothes to wear,

Why dont you buy a multi pack of flakes that way you will have some spare ;)

  • Can i just say WOW all these baskets are really beautiful and I would be sooo moved to recieve one @ christmas or anytime tbh xx:T

I have decide that I am going to do baskets for a lot of friends & family(in-laws) and I know my friends will really love them and appreciate the thought I have put in to them :D. Sadly the same can't be said for the other lot as the amount of thought i get is unless it can be bought in the weekly shopping then they get stuck for ideas (but thats a whole other story and moan ;) ):(

Anyway moving on :D i see someone mentioned Chocolate Dip Sticks - £1 for 2 - where can i get these from ??

I have got some baskets and have got quite a few things already just need to get them arranged etc. but have no room to do yet and don't think they will be good enough to post pics :o

Just wanted to say that all the baskets are brilliant and keep up the hard & good work and keep these ideas etc coming they are fantastic :T.

  • Just to let you all know an idea I had ... Tesco are selling little mini bars of Green and Blacks 35g, a nice size to try out the flavours and so I bought 3 flavours (66p each) and little organza bags from ebay with silver stars all over, popped them in a bag and wella! Looks fab, would make a nice little gift for teachers, friends mums, babysitters etc etc..

Not sure I can post the ebay ID I got the bags from but if anyone wants it pm me!

    3 bags - 99p.
    3 bars choc - £1.98

    Cost each bag - £2.31

I would post a pic but don't know how :(

I saw a pack of 8 for £4 in Boots, and you could get them on their 3 for 2 gifts offer ;)

I tried one of the Starbucks mallow twizzlers today OMG!! I was in heaven, BUT thought they must be easy to make, stick 3 marshmallows on a lolly stick, cover in plain chocolate and roll in chocolate shavings

    They sound lovely :)

If you have quite a few to do, it might work out cheaper buying the Green & Blacks Miniature boxes on the 3 for 2 at Boots, and splitting them up, rather than buying the individual bars.

    ooh!

if you get those packs of 12 bars fo £3.33 on offer and put those in a gift bag or hampers etc, they would work out very reasonably - thanks for that!
