    Bowl - What! - £1
    DVD - Poundland weston - £1
    Popcorn - Asda - 98p
    Haribo - 2 for £1 Asda so effectively 50p

Candy canes - Rajani's - 95p for twelve so about 25p for the 3 included!

    Total cost - £4.23 !!!

mummatoone i would suggest that you could use cellophane but instead of buncing it, wrap it over the top and secure underneath flat, kind of like what you have done with the clingdfilm, that way you can see the things better. it is a nice hamper well done!! :)

meant to say. The larger primark stores - definitely Liverpool are starting a range of bathing stuff, so smellies, glove exfoliators, empty travel bottles etc which are all under about £2 which might look great for all of your hampers!

I don't know about Jane, but I bought my mini whisks from Wilkinsons. They're 49p for two (slightly different sizes) and are in the kitchen section.

Hi all just wanted to say that last year I made hot chocolate mugs for my nieces and nephews and i put a flake in with them so that they could sprinkle it over the top of the hot chocolate I also bought some small marshmallows (£1 from the £1 shop) this made around 4 little bags worth. It made the mug look really full with the hot choc, 2 x flakes, whisk and marshmallows in them all in all it didnt cost much but they really liked them. They probably worked out at £2.oo
  • Hi thanks for your replies regarding the whisks, I am just going to pick DS3 up from school now and will have a ride into town and search. Good idea with the flake, wont have to buy them until near xmas though,as being a very organised person(not) I bought chocolates for other presents and in moment or two of desperation I have eaten them all:eek: and I wonder why I have no clothes to wear,
