I still haven't ventured onto the thread yet lol ... too scared!!! ... I was impressed with my 2 x £1 goodies though ;)

OK, hands up - I really don't understand the Boots thingy. Did manage to do a 3 for 2 yesterday (well OH did as he was buying his presents) and got the Soap and Glory mini set free (you can see some of it in my daughters hamper, lol)

Anyway, my question is... between us we got 2 pink vouchers. Can they be used on anything in store and is it only one per transaction?

    TIA

I'm pretty confident that most of my ideas are either from someone else or as a result of someone else's pondering so I would love to think that something I have put is worthy of pinching ;)

They can be exchanged against ruby and millie or no7 products and are 1 per transaction.

I picked up a nail buffer thing which was £6 but the £5 made it £1 cash to pay and then in a seperate transaction I bought I think it was a compact mirror which was £6 so I did the same again but I took all of it to the till and just asked to pay seperately ;) he knew what I was doing and it was all fine.

I don't understand the boots thread either but I have made a promise to myself that I am going to make an effort and try to understand it. The amount of vouchers I simply throw away cause I never feel I could use them on anything!

you can use voucher on No7 and Ruby and Millie. only one per transaction. have a look at the Boots thread, there are loads of examples of what to get and how to use the vouchers.

  • Okay, I need some good ideas, with all this Christmas hamper excitement I have forgotten some birthdays, oops. My friend had her birthday last week but I am taking her present down to her on Friday, well I will be if I get her one. Any ideas of a hamper theme? I have some of the small 'hampers' from Ikea so can't be anything too big. She lives with a friend so doesn't have her own house, is an Occupational Therapist (newly qualified) and loves going out for a few drinks, but enjoys some of the geeky things I do and isn't a ladette by any means. Any ideas of homemade things like the journal jar for a 26 year old, don't think she would do that but like the idea of something in a jar (mainly as I have jars... :))
Any ideas welcome, don't want to just buy her something rubbish for the sake of buying something x
