Bunbun2 I buy things in charity shops and allocate later - which has left me now with more gifts than people! Not a bad place to be in I guess - some will keep for birthdays.

I've seen some lovely hampers on here and have taken some inspiration and made my BIL a beer hamper...

I'm looking for a ice bucket of some sorts. Anyone know where I could get a cheap one?

I've got the beer, book and sweets but nothing to put it in!

    LOL

    bec - super hampers:T

savingholmes - thanks..........you must have a good imagination..........actually they do look ok considering theyre just shoe boxes. I managed to lay the stuff out so that when they open them at least it looks 'interesting'.........lol Always difficult to know what to get when stuff needs posting and my son is always telling me off about the postage.

    - love the hampers too -they look fab!

Got-it-spend-it - you mentioned using your No 7 vouchers to get nail varnishes to use as teen gifts for a local charity - can I ask what charity you're thinking of?
I know this is all a little bit off thread but it's just that I've made up 22 shoe boxes for girls (mostly teenagers) for the shoebox appeal and I'd prefer not to send them all with samaritans purse - I'd love to be able to donate some within the UK but don't know where.

It's a local one in Southampton called Scratch. Not sure where you are but might be worth googling to see if there is anything similar in your area. Scratch give gift to underprivileged kids in the area from birth-16 years old. I've got some toys and am also making up a few male and female teen toiletries/ cosmetics type gifts.
