When I finally get my bags and bags and boxes of stuff made up into hampers I was hoping to post some photies - which site do most of you guys use to upload your photos to, I know there are a few but which one is the easiest to work with.- TIA.

Do you guys wait until you have everything you need before you start making your hampers or do you add things to it as you go along?

I use photobucket - you can get a free account. I'd never done anything like it before but found it relatively easy. My OH is in IT but even he was impressed! He'd never done it either!

Yes Millie I worry that people will see the hampers and costings but hopefully they will a) be grateful for the thought and effort in the hamper and in getting the best deal to make the quality of contents possible... and b) if they look at my sig hopefully they will be grateful they got anything!:rotfl:To be honest I'm more worried that they'll find out how much debt we're in than about what the hamper cost! I do worry in case they see the photos in advance, work it out and it spoils the surprise for them.... but I'm hoping that having posted relatively early the pressies will blur together....

Iv just got stuff all over the place in bags and boxes. I dont have the room to make them all up and store them without squishing before christmas. And its daft but i was worried about them getting dusty by then. Also I want to have a night nearer christmas where i put my christmas movie on and sit with a glass of wine and make them all up getting all christmassy. Im getting very excited now!! Im making do with making bits for the hampers at the minute, like snowman soup, perfect man etc. x

I was just going to say in regard to the basket prices, I almost bought some baskets (technically labeled as for laundry) for 99p each, so all of these seem quite expensive in comparison

Really? Sorry I thought that was good prices!:rotfl: I bought a couple of the £3.75 sets! Where did you see the 99p ones? I have also bought some boxes and baskets from vertbaudet today too... ooops!:o There isn't much choice here in the sticks!!;)

    xx

It depends whether I've already chosen a container... I tend to group things together for a particular person as I go along which might be in the eventual container or could be in just a bag...

Hi, what's the 'perfect man' thing you're on about? Thanks.

yours do sound nice with the linings etc, though if I make a hamper this year I hope to add my own lining in some way.
They were in the 99p store!

The thing about making a hamper is that I don't want the person I make one for to be left with a useless basket afterwards that they haven't got room for/don't need.

Awww we don't have a 99p shop, it closed!! We do have a poundland now though but nowt in it really.

That sounds pretty wicked doing your own linings for the baskets!! You'll need to post the finished result to give us some ideas!:j

I never thought about doing this sort of thing before but they all look really superb!!
