I'm also making aromatherapy items (I'm a qualified aromatherapist) also making bath melts, milk bath, bath salts and bath oils.
As soon as I've finished I'll let you all take a peek. Unfortunately I'm awaiting on someone to bring over some things from the UK in November (I live in France).
Wow, look forward to seeing some pics of your stuff, everything sounds fab and I wish I was a very close friend of yours... :rotfl::wave: If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -
GISI, hope you weren't spotted taking pics of mugs in Sainsburys, they'd think you'd lost the plot... :rotfl: Thanks for the pics though, I'd never go and buy anything like that now I know I can make it better for less (thanks to this board). I'd love someone to make me a coffee/Baileys set... If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0

Hi busymumof2, that case of goodies is so fab :T Can I please ask where you got the great santa mug, thank you!
The mug was 'recycled' from a previous Christmas... someone gave us themWe've never used them though, and they have been washed up thoroughly!! They actually used to sing a Christmassy tune too when you lifted them up but the batteries have long since died (but no-one would know they used to sing!). Sorry I can't help more, thanks for your kind comments too xxx

you could use newspaper or similar scrunch it up put it in bottom of the basket and then put a sheet of coloured tissue paper over the top mrs tYou never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.

Hi Ikkle
Funny you should mention that I did try that very thing the other day as I had some gold tissue paper in my craft box. I just didnt feel it looked as nice as the shredded stuff.
Think it may have to be this though as I am not paying that amount for shredded stuff. lol0 -
shaz_mum_of _2 - Love your Nanna's present, practical as well as pretty
Also love your hampers too lilmrsmullen, but especially the bucket. Probably because it's not easy finding containers for mens' giftsI know that Au Natrel had some great Homer Simpson buckets last year, but they upped sticks and I can't find them anymore, so any sightings would be much appreciated. Really like the third container too, so I'll be looking out for them too
That reminds me - someone on the thread bought the large summery salad bowls that were sold in Au Natrel and as I'd bought the same, I wondered if whoever it was had successfully used them as hampers bowls?? I can't see very well, but are Tesco Twilights chocolates? Tia.
And well done cookiedough - your hampers look great too and those Poundland baskets are excellent value aren't they? I look everytime I'm passing but only ever seen them once and there was only 3 left. Ashamed to say I took the 3 ..!
Babykat - what a great first attempt. Well done :T (I'm slowly reverting to the idea that hampers can look so much better in gift wrap, and then cellophaned up - especially after my 'efforts' todayI might post them up later.) Lovely gesture for your 70 year old friend too - bet she'll be well pleased
Woohoo Ruth_honey - how pretty and colourful are those baskets? The football-related hampers look great! Nice one
sophiesmum - I've got a real soft spot for your hampers, and not only because I want one too, lol. I'm a fiend for buying pink as I'm surrounded by young female relatives, so I totally 'get' your hampersAnd all dusty pinks and whites - great combination, and lucky nieces eh?
(Are you sure you haven't forgotten anything there? :rotfl:
)
Good luck with the hamper lilian1977I forgot what I was looking for when I got to the Kama Sutra oils in the 2nd link
- it totally distracted me from Indian foods, lol.
busymumof2 - you've really lived up to your namebut that suitcase hamper is just lovely, and a real bargain. Well done! I wouldn't worry about the bow too much btw, as I think a few of us come unstuck with the first pull-bow, and second etc, in my case :rotfl:
Nessa - I like the idea of the candle ingredients for your OH. My OH likes candles too, bought ones thoughbut I wondered if you could help me source some wicks please? Dd bought me a diy candle set last year, but I've lost the wicks
(Probably lost the instructions, wax, and all the other palaver
but the wicks were the first to 'disappear'. Tia.
Off to catch up with the latest batch - I'm worn out  :rotfl:Excuse all the smilies - so many hampers!Oh what a tangled web we weave, when first we practice to deceive. ~ Sir Walter Scott0 -

Do you have a shredder or know someone who has one, you could make your own shredded tissue. The idea of newspaper or maybe parcel paper at the bottom with tissue over the top is good - I've done this:wave: If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0
