doe anyone have any ideas in how to pack my gift baskets please. I have been looking at the price of shredded tissue paper and its gonna bring the cost of my baskets up too much. any help please.

Have you tried nipping into your local Clerks shoe shop and asking if they have any tissue paper out the back that they can spare - loads on here have been getting it. AND IT'S FREE!!!!

Got the cd by writing reviews on Bview, and got the ipod for writing reviews on Qype :) thats why they were so cheap, a lot of things in the baskets were freebies or i used promo's like the nestle dvd one to get a bargain .

Thanks for the compliments everyone! I have been going through my pressie cupboard and have found a few more bits to add to the football hamper. I had a couple of magnets and a football soap on a rope that I forgot I had! Just trying to figure out how I'm going to fit everything into my suitcase to take on the train with me. Am taking some of it down to my family this visit (to be hidden until christmas, of course!) and the rest at christmas. Might have to cellophane the football hamper when I get there. It's only gonna get squashed otherwise. Sometimes I wish I drove a car!

    Hi Maria,

DVDs, books, mix to make some cookies for Santa, a paper plate to decorate to put Santa's snack on, some paper & pen to write a note to Santa, reindeer food, Xmas themed colouring pages (loads of free ones on internet), some crayons, paper chains...sorry running out of ideas now... :D

Have you seen the Xmas Eve Hamper thread, may have more/better ideas on there!
 If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain
