This is my first post actaully, usually a lurker lol!
I just wanted to say what I great idea these hampers are.
I done my frist 2 yesterday and were so pleased with how they turned out! I done one for my Husbands Nan for her birthday and one for my mums friend for christmas. Got pretty much all of the stuff on BOGOF (Dove etc), some perfumes from TJ Hughs for £3 and some bits and pieces. The Nans one come to about £13 but looks really impressive! Bought the pull bows from ebay. Even H was impressed how they turned out! Wish Id have thought about making these up before for more people! Just wanted to say thanks to everyone for sharing their ideas!
I'm planning on doing a movie night in one for my sis and her husbands and my sil and her boyfriend
Thank again

Finished my baskets but when I wrapped them up they look horrible, a right mess, don't know where I went wrong with the cellophane, not sure if it was wide enough and then used too much but either way it looks horrid. Any other ideas for wrapping them? I don't want to have to waste money buying more cellophane just to mess it up again.0

I'm wondering if you can apply the same technique seen in this video?

Hi
I never went into much detail with measurement's etc when I was doing mine as not very artistic etc,I just sat the basket in the middle of a piece of cellophane and held up both sides until equal,a good wee bit above the package to give me enough room to scrunch together with bow etc, though did get Hubbie to hold other side as could not do it alone, much to his disgust:rotfl:scrunched together gently in middle and put round bow and hey presto.
Hope this helps.Just back into comping past few months to help me get over rubbish in life.... won Hotpoint fridge freezer, soda stream0 -
