The B&Q baskets (3 seagrass) which were reduced to £2 are now further reduced to 50p

I am new to all this basket making and went on-line to see if b&q had these baskets. The only store near me that had any was eastwood, nottinghamshire still 30 miles away  but the comp said they had some so i went. When i got there the staff said a woman had been in and cleared them out of the whole stock    I haven't been able to find any other ones either locally  non in instore, home bargins or poundland so i may have to give up on the basket making this year:mad:

Have you looked/asked (because sometimes they're round the back) in charity shops?...or I always manage to buy from car boots too.

I bought two "extra value" lined baskets from Tesco yesterday for £3.25. George at Asda also had 3 baskets for £5. They also had some wicker waste bins reduced for £1 which would be good for students or kids as they could use them afterwards. Apart from that the Tesco ones were the cheapest I have seen.
