Having found this thread the other day I was so inspired I rushed out and bought some baskets. Found some really cheap lined ones in Wilkos.
In my sisters basket so far is:
Round Lined Basket - 99p from Wilko
Nivea sunkissed skin - 99p Wilko
Johnsons baby oil - 98p Wilko
Parlmolive aromatherapy showergel - £1.48 BOGOF Wilko - so 74p
Body Spray - 79p wilko
Coco butter - £1.29 wilko
17 foundation - £1.25 boots (reduced from £4.99)
Fluffy socks - £1 - poundland
Pantene straightening balm - £1 - poundland
Body mop - 39p wilko
Total so far £8.43 - Budgeted £10 for her basket, so over the next few weeks will see if I can pick up a BOGOF shampoo and conditioner to finish off.
Will post a photo when I next can
Am loving these hampers, everything in that basket is stuff my sister will use so none of it is wasted, fab idea, thank you!*wonders when they will make dressing gowns acceptable day wear?*No new toiletries challenge - use up the stash first!NSD Jan 2/150 -

This is my first proper hamper (did a few mini ones last christmas, but forgot to take pictures  ).
It's a Chocolate Pamper Hamper, for a 40th birthday
It all started with the mug - £1.20 in a charity shop but brand new - and grew from there. I'd only planned to fill the mug originally, lol.
With that, there are;
12 assorted hot chocolate sachets - some on offer, some free samples.
a mini whisk (from a Wilkinsons 2 pack)
A pot of Cadburys chocolate curls
A 2 pack of posh chocolate biscuits (a la my earlier Sainsburys thread - might pick another pack up before I give her the hamper tomorrow)
A bag of Aero bubbles (free voucher from here)
a Wispa Bar
2 large bars of Aero (bogof in the Co-op last week)
2 mini packs of Maltesers (left over from kids birthday party last month)
Next Chocolate bath bombs (thanks to the posters who crack the sale code each time)
Designer 'Triple Choc' bath duck (La Redoute discount code)
3 Egyptian cotton flannels (wilkinsons)
Bath net (superdrug - thanks to all those who helped with that)
Manicure set (Avon half price)
2 Mills & Boon books (free offer)
Including the hatbox (Kays summer sale - still got two smaller ones left for other hampers), tissue and card, it's a grand total of £24.90 - with an rrp of £49.82 :j
Now I've just got to hope she's not on a dietDFW Nerd no. 884 - Proud to [strike]be dealing with[/strike] have dealt with my debts0 -

That looks absolutely fabulous! I would LOVE someone to go to all that thought and effort for me! Is that a large sheet of tissue? Where did you get it? It really finishes it off! I may steal that idea!

Thanks
The tissue came from ebay (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=290169452570). Couldn't find brown in the shops around here, and it'll all get used either for presents or kids crafts.
There are 4 sheets scrunched into various shapes in the bottom to give a base for things, then the tissue you can see is two sheets just coming up from the base (things sitting on the bottom edges to keep them in place). I folded the edges in and scrunched another sheet over the top to hold everything in place, and so that when she opens the box she won't know what's coming (this is of course where I find out she finally got online recently and is reading this thread, lol)DFW Nerd no. 884 - Proud to [strike]be dealing with[/strike] have dealt with my debts0 -
That chocolate hamper is fantastic, it's given me a fantastic idea for a hamper to cheer up a down-in-the-dumps friend of mine! Thanks.0
