Many moons back my DD had to do the same, I made a white fur rabbit suit added a real simple waistcoat and made a big cardboard pocket watch to go in the pocket. I realise the rabbit suit isn't practical but could you do white top, white bottoms, homemade big white pom pom on the bottom and an hair band with cardboard ears or craft wire ears and white tights like they make those angel/fairy wings.

mrs t I cross posted, queen of hearts sounds great too.

I did the exact same thing for my daughter a couple of years back for the school book day. :D
Most of the other children had either brought costumes or were princesses, fairies, spiderman, harry potter or his friends.
    She was original :D

Very nice Rusty! I think they are a really nice idea. I was just saying on another thread, my DD has been invited to another couple of parties so I'm not feeling as bad now for splashing out on multiple baking sets as they are ready to go! At least it takes the pressure off to of wondering where to pay for it from as I already have it. I was in Debenhams today - and I picked up 4 freebies including 1 Ralph Lauren perfume sample, 1 for lancome and a juicer, a twister knife worth £3.99! So was really chuffed!

    Hi Bluetimone

Not sure if you plan on a spanish food themed hamper or just spanish in general?
for a foody themed one you could use these as a guide ...

    http://www.bakersandlarners.co.uk/spanish-hamper-p-5219.html

Obviously yours would be a fraction of the cost ;)

If you were just thinking a hamper in general you could find a small spanish phrase book? Snagria, marracas? a spanish fan?

Will have a think about a few other things for you.

Is this any good? Stripes are horizontal rather than vertical though http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/BLACK-WHITE-STRIPES-NEW-BOXED-TERRAMUNDI-POT-GIFTS_W0QQitemZ110267638199QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item110267638199&_trkparms=72%3A1301|39%3A1|66%3A2|65%3A12|240%3A1318&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14

theres also this one but it says its blue (looks white to me though http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Unopenable-terramundi-style-money-pot_W0QQitemZ180297493371QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item180297493371&_trkparms=72%3A1301|39%3A1|66%3A2|65%3A12|240%3A1318&_trksid=p3911.c0.m14
you could paint your own stripes the right way up then.
Officially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended :p
