  • Hi there,
Hope you don't mind me popping in. For the Moving Home Hamper, how about about making some home-made Moving House / Change of Address Cards.

    Best wishes

Many moons back my DD had to do the same, I made a white fur rabbit suit added a real simple waistcoat and made a big cardboard pocket watch to go in the pocket. I realise the rabbit suit isn't practical but could you do white top, white bottoms, homemade big white pom pom on the bottom and an hair band with cardboard ears or craft wire ears and white tights like they make those angel/fairy wings.

mrs t I cross posted, queen of hearts sounds great too.

Thanks solblivion for your ideas,...as am desperate for time thought I would have a shot at the queen of hearts, have cut out hearts........any ideas on sticking it on her fancy dress outfit without ruining it? what do you reckon to putting double sided sticky tape....
    cheers mrs t

I know a lot of you have been mentioning cup cake items recently.
I was in Matalan yesterday and they have a pink/white range of tea towels, oven gloves and aprons for £3-£4 with cupcakes on. Really nice actually.;)
Wondering how to incorporate the apron for a present for a 10 year old who loves cooking....... (I don't, love cooking, and therefore an stuck for ideas!)

I can't show you photees as I haven't actually put it together yet, but thought I would share what I am doing as part of Mum's birthday pressie

I got one of those cupcake trays from Home bargains for 99p and ordered a cupcake book from M&S for £3.50, incl delivery, added some rolled up tea towels from Primark, £2, which are baking themed and mega cute and a whisk from home bargains with an egg handle. I am planning to wrap it in cello and lots of pink ribbon. Hope it will look mega cute and worth more than the £7.50 it cost :)

    hth someone

  • We have a Range and i love it they gave a wide selection of baskets and bits to go in and the craft aisles ..........................wow

Am looking for a berry coloured hat box or cardboard storage box if anyone sees one

    Shaz

Hi Shaz, Au Naturale had a lovely berry coloured box yesterday in 3 sizes, with butterflies on. Prices started from £3 I think, and they also has a set of mini suitcases in the same colour.

    Hope this helps x

For my friend im doing a cooking hamper she loves cooking cakes so im going to get a bowl and fill it up with and apron/gloves, wooden spoon, wisk, cake cases, sprinkles (they were going cheap in tescos a while ago and i think some still are) im going to wrap it all up in cellophane. You could try to do something like this for your 10 year old. You could also buy a cupcake or cake/biscuit book and but some cookie cutters in aswell. If you have a look round a bet there are lots of things you can put into the bowl/hamper depending on your budget. (rowling pin, timer, scales, cake tins, icing sugar, piping bag for icing) you get my gist. hth
