Sounds great - just found this on BBC Food which sounds similar:

    http://www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/2921/mulled-wine-kit

Looking forward to seeing the pictures!

I need to make a new home kit, I know a lot of people have made them already but this thread is huge, any suggestions? So far I have:

washing up bowl (for the basket)
washing up sponges (to bulk out the bottom)
tea towel (to cover the ugly sponges!)
    light bulbs
    candles
    nice serving spoons?
    pizza cutter?
    parmesan grater?
    garlic press?
    Toilet roll,
    wooden spoon
    cleaning accessories (sprays, bleach etc)
    Kitchen roll
    Some tins of food?
Sugar tea and coffee - everyone forgets! Oh and some long life milk incase!

We have a Range and i love it they gave a wide selection of baskets and bits to go in and the craft aisles ..........................wow

Am looking for a berry coloured hat box or cardboard storage box if anyone sees one

    Shaz

I've seen hat boxes in a sort of burgandy colour, 2 for £2.81 in the sale at Asda. They are a lovely colour.

Please can I ask where can I get the Boots vouchers? Are they giving them away online or instore?

Sorry for the late reply but noticed kitiaracat has explained that the vouchers are issued instore :) You'll get a better idea if you read the thread from about here:

    http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=1201115&page=17

and the first 3 posts by crazyposhgal. The voucher was only issued today, but a good example of how they can be used is in post #325 Those Ruby& Millie bags are real pretty :) hth

Shelley3774 - Love the Pot of Gold, I'll do one for my OH as the lottery is one of his few vices ;)

savingholmes - Love the idea of a diy doggy basket :D and well done RustyFlange, those nappy cakes are something else :) The 'crafty tins' are a great idea too.
And how pretty is your hamper sarah_smurf ... well done :T I really like the box too, it reminds me of the Lulu Guinness range of stuff (which I can only dream about ;) lol)

For those doing Jamie Oliver themed hampers, I'd thoroughly recommend his champagne glasses. They're not like typical champagne glasses as they have short stems, but look really robust, so good for hampers lol. Quite cheap in Sainsbury's sale last year but hoping to spot them this year too ;)

And thanks to all for the nifty ideas and links. (I've opened about 10 extra windows already :rotfl: )

Awww, that's lovely Shelley, and I hope he has better luck in tonight's draw :D

Those pots of gold are really eye-catching aren't they? I bought a two-tiered swivel coin tray in the M&S sale (about £3 I think) and OH isn't that keen on it lol. I wouldn't mind but he was with me when I bought it  :rotfl:

He might like it better if there's coins and a lottery ticket in the top, and a scratchcard in the bottom :D

    Thanks again :)

    Snipped:

Thankyou Passion :) I have a special order to make up tonight. I am making it up then sending photo's to them as they asked for extra goodies :) So will post pics of finished pink one and the special order tonight once I have finished.

Also managed to get playdoh in woolies in the sale ... they are make and display or something similar so you have enough playdoh to make what is on the card then you display it in the case, comes in a dome shape. and was only 50p each! Grabbed 3 of them 1 for each tin and then one for my sons stocking. Got loads of bargains today ... need to feed the children then I can get started on all of the things I should have been doing today (I went shopping instead!!)

Also managed to get a free scarf from the Newcastle shop yay! and bought a Tshirt from there which was 50% off so only £5 and quite nice ... OH's hamper is now ready to make up ... well apart from the terramundi which I am struggling to source so will make it up and leave it unwrapped in case I can source one from somewhere! pics to follow :)

Done one pot of gold using gravy granule tub, covered it in paper with coins on and filled it up with chocolate gold coins...............think I might give that to one of my sons for christmas (with lottery ticket) -got an empty chicken tonight sauce jar thats a nice shape so might do another for ex foster girls OH -got some gold paint so could paint the lid.

Managed to fill all my gravy granule tubs today - sherbert lemons for canned sunshine, mixture of fruity sweets for canned rainbow and assortment of sweets for the cans of quotes......................lol
