i have just skimmed the last 5 pages or so and wanted to say that everyones pots of gold/hampers/nppy cakes are looking fantastic!

i picked up a few bargains in Peterborough at the weekend which i thought i would share:
QS have various storage boxes starting at £2, i got a nice cream one with brown flowers on and one shaped like a suitcase which was pink with white stars. They also had metal tin ones with Popeye and Pink Panther on, and at the weekend there was a 20% off event (not sure when it is finishing sorry)

Wilkinsons have wicker baskets from £1.99 plus had various HSM and in the night garden bits and bobs, some of which were reduced, plus the usual crafty bits and pink girly items, lots of hamper potential in there!

Birthdays in Queensgate is closing down and had everything reduced, loads of valentines and easter bits, mugs, teddies etc plus some Xmas tree decorations with names on for 10p each.

Also nipped to Asda yesterday and they had Betty Boop Pjs half price down to £6 which now gives me a theme for my MIL hamper (fogot she likes betty boop) plus they had HSM tshirts reduced to £3. HTH

Phew, only been away for a day and this thread has grown about 4 pages!!!

Rusty, so sorry to hear your initial news of the solicitor but your next solicitor sounds much better. Good luck with it all, you know where we all are if you fancy a chat or a rant ;) . Your nappy cakes look fab (as always) - you do underprice but you know that already don't you ;) . For the crafty boxes, there are several bits reduced in Wilkos, I got a hair braid set for 50p for one of my charity shoe boxes :D

Sarah Smurf (what a great name!) - love your hamper box of goodies and your cello looks good to me :D

Thanks to all for a great thread, one of my faves :T

Thanks Rainmac :D ... I can rant and rave for England ... my friend has just been round and we have just been ranting about her useless boyfriend :D I will nip into wilkos at some point and see what I can get. Thanks again for the suggestions and ideas :)

Thanks for the kind comments :)

    Hi
if the craft things are for Christmas, it might be worth checking Poundland out (after Halloween?) as last year they had make your own gift bags, window decorations etc all aimed at children
