  • Hi s23xy dependant on your budget you could let little celtic goodies, mug, mini scarf, car sticker little celtic teddy, pen? etc then find a coordinating coloured basket?

    I am doing this for my OH for christmas. I have made up a NUFC door hanger and also a little jar of facts. Hopefully he will love it as it will be from the children.

    LOL! They must be doing a bomb outta this thread! I love their store. I buy my pull bows from them too, as they let you mix and match your colours.

    They have to be. I've only been looking on these last couple of pages and clicked on links (about 15 lol) and 5 have taken me to Flower Hour :rotfl:

    I just bought coasters from this ebay seller:
    http://stores.ebay.co.uk/Promotional-Gifts-Image2000plus

    They also sell keyrings, fridge magnets etc. and offer combined postage - HTH!

    Thank you so much for finding and posting the link :) I've just had a quick look and there's loads of items that I'd love to buy and use. (I'll add coasters to the list of things to do like cup cakes, jars of all kinds, sock monkeys, and if I'm not too worn out after that lot lol, nappy cakes! :rotfl: but I'll start with a small one ;))

    bunbun2 - those sweet boxes are a great idea :) Makes me wish I'd had more kids (or was a Nan lol).

    NZK83 - well done with the movie box :) I think I'll buy some of those containers too, they always look really effective and I love the way they can be personalised via the blackboard :) Nice Ikea baskets too. I'll have to butter up my OH somehow (no suggestions needed ladies :D;)) as the nearest Ikea is a few miles away.

    Thanks for the mention about using the hessian effect cellophane, savingholmes :) I keep forgetting :o lol

    sarah_smurf - Apologies if I'm stating the obvious ;) but can't it all be rejigged (if that's a word?) I can't see the picture that well, but the Radox muscle soap looks a bit heavy on one side, so could it be placed in the centre?

    Btw Sarah, Boots were reducing nail sets recently, probably to make room for more Christmas items, so it's still worth looking there if you have points to use. :) hth

    Went to MrA at the weekend, & they've got the Halloween stuff out now. Anyhoo, I got a pack of four wine-type goblets for £5; the stems are a skeleton forearm, with the hand holding the champagne flute shaped 'glass'. Each glass is a different colour & there is a ring on a finger with corresponding coloured 'gem'. Okay, they are plastic, but I got them for my very closest budd whose very heavily into zombie films :p

    They also had cupcake gift bags--looked a bit like shopping bags with cord handles & approx 20cm deep x 30cm wide & £2:49....I know how much you folk like your cupcakes :D
    Full time Carer for Mum; harassed mother of three;
    loving & loved by two 4-legged babies.

  • Thankyou lush for your help, i would never of though of doing a face cloth cup cake or a sock one with out the help of this thread, so thankyou to everyone.
