You can buy some things from ebay, like cellophane, "the clear wrapping stuff" You can also buy cellophane with designs on in white, or colours
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Cellophane-Wrap-White-Spot-x-5m-FREE-RIBBON_W0QQitemZ370090557139QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item370090557139&_trkparms=72%3A1298%7C39%3A1%7C66%3A2%7C65%3A12%7C240%3A1318&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14 I'm sure that someone on here will have a link to a good site I tend to get my from a florist wholesalers also they do the bows there as well, usually pull bows
Haha i racking my brains trying to think of the word cellophane but it just wouldnt come to me so i gave up!! Cant wait to make these!!

Hi Shaz, this is the one I like the look of best, warm and snuggly http://www.fjsmjs.com/Mary/blueberry.htm not tried it so I can't vouch for it though.
There's others - not sure what you are wanting, cape style no sleeves, light and lacey 2ply, older fashion flowy?0 -

also adding bed socks(cupcakes) and slippers also seen some bubble bath that has a warming effect i think by the people who make olbas oil but the colour doesn't fit.............................i know i'm terrible
Any more ideas ?
Thanks
Shaz
Shaz, could you pour the bubble bath into a coloured glass bottle and add a tag to get the colour effect you're after? Just a thought:wave: If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -
rainmac - you pinched my thoughts................lol I was just going to say that. I did that with some cheapo bubble bath........put it in a wine bottle, added a label off 'images' of vintage bath and tied cream ribbon round it. Made it look better than it was if you see what I mean:jMary
I'm creative -you can't expect me to be neat too !

I made sweet boxes for my ds party yesterday instead of party bags. They went down really well and everyone thought they were a great idea! In fact we went to see the chinese state circus today and 3 of the boys were there - with their sweet boxes:rotfl:saving for ds2's summer international scout camp - £200

Mary and rainmac .....why didnt i think of that .............doh
soblivion thanks for that but it might be a bit too much work i am thinking short and lacy i guess a cape would work
there was a this i quite liked on that site

I do have some of those huge needles where you use one of those and a thin one(oddpins??) and it makes a lacy pattern which grows quick so could adapt the pattern slightly .....................have i understood right ts a scarf joined at the end but with a twist??
Dug out all my christmas bits from their hiding places and was a bit surprised how much i already had
Not got a clue for DS age 17 apart from the wireless headphones i already have ....now he's earning its difficult to know what to buy
regarding ribbon i picked up some christmas wrapping sets last year in the sales containing those stick on bows and little rolls of curling ribbon and gift tags,it worked out cheaper than buying rolls but have run out now so will have to have a scout round the shops i know instore were selling off a few xmas bits from last years stock ready for new
