  • M&S had a lovely cupcake range last year. Might find some of it on Ebay, or in their clearance shops. I had a gorgeous little sugar bowl and a cake plate from there.

  • I have been looking on ebay for cupcake cases with not much luck, most just look like regular fairy cake cases or there are some from Hong Kong. Anyone got them in the UK, I'm assuming they need to be quite srtrong material to hold the face cloths

I'd also appreciate if anyone has an idiots guide to nappy cakes , a step by step guide, love to try them

I have made a few baby baskets for friends and they have all been well received. Primark has been great for vests, scratch mitts and blankets, best buy was pack of 5 face clothes finished with ribbon for £1.50

Oh and poundland has large wicker baskets with handles ,but i'd likenice lined ones or boxes with maybe clear lids...anyone got suggestions , they ones I have found so far online haven't been that cheap would like to keep the costs of materials down to spend more on contents

an while I am on a roll , I quite fancy trying to make the flower socks, you know the socks rolled up to llok like roses , anyone tried it.. any tips , whats best to buy to add in for the right affect

    many thanks to you all

p.s just had a look at the finished hampers thread , well done everyone they look great

Thanks Ikkle ,I know they are only a few pounds but wasn't sure if worth paying the postage then waiting two weeks if they were just as easy to get here ..

Have you used them as intended for lovely cakes or for the face cloths ?

  • hi there

have been watching the thread for a week or so and think you are all amazing.
I am trying to make my first hamper or two for christams. The first being on for my children save buying them selection boxes. The other is for my husband, have got him deodrant, some shower gel and some aftershave. I am also going to put in some chocolates and sweets, but im stuck on some extra little treats. Any suggestions greatly received.

    King regards
