  • Shaz-mum: That is a lovely hamper, I can't wait to start putting hampers together but don't have the room so will just keep on collecting bits together.

FunnyFreckle - Not sure where you live but next year you'll have to do an overnight in a travel lodge (when on sale) in an area that has these shops.

I'm lucky we have a couple of pound shops (not poundland). Au Naturel, TJ Hughes (never been think I'll have to though), Quality Save (think that's Home Bargains, TK Maxx and something else called QS Fashions(again never been). They are not all in the same place but all relatively local. We also have the renowned Trafford Centre (not brilliant for not spending money in).

  • :rotfl: OMG someones not heard of twinks hobnobs :rotfl:

Twink is a poster on this site and posted a hobnob recipe which is amazing and famous in its own right someone here will have a link to the recipe

I add seeds and dried fruit to them and bake in a tray like a flapjack so cranberries and white choc chips would be yummy i have a bright red silicone tray that i could use in the basket too

    Shaz

who's hubby thinks she has gone mad as ever time he comes home she is wrestling with cello;)

I think thats a lovely idea.............wonder if I could do something like that fr baby grandson............I know he's only 18 months old this christmas but his mum and dad might get a thrill out of it...........what on earth can I do though for a boy that age ?
He's got the usual bath toys...............have to check dressing gown etc.
    any ideas ?

Mary how about a http://www.make-baby-stuff.com/hooded-baby-bath-towel-pattern.html hooded frog bath towel. Beauty of this is you don't have to use terrycloth, just a bath towel and 2 matching flannels will do the job.
Doesn't have to be a frog - could be a panda like this one http://personalizedchildrenspresents.com/pro913421.html or brown towel for a bear, what ever you fancy really.
  • im in complete shock also by the fact that somebody doesn't know what a twink is, these biscuits are soo good i can even get my oh to eat them and believe me he doesnt eat anything that doesn't have a brand attached

  • I best hang my head in shame as I don't know what a twink is either and I have been here a while and probably should know better! :(
