How daft am I just seen that big button saying "quote" so hope this works.
What sort of things are you putting in your children's Christmas Eve hampers. My DS is same age as yours and my DD is year older than yours. They both need new dressing gowns so might manage to hang out till Christmas to give them those and thought new pj's as well, book each and letter from Father Christmas. Saw something mentioned here on printing off a star certificate and then for DS thought about Hot Choc set i.e new mug .......Just wondered what other inspiration you'd had.
Thanks
Yay it worked
Afraid I can't take the credit for the idea as it was Sarah who gave the idea to me.

Have just bought a load more chinese food stuff, and also while I was in the Chinese supermarket I picked up a load of sushi stuff too. Going to make a separate hamper with that using a bamboo steamer:

They are £1.35 each for a medium size, you pay separately for the base and the lid - you can get all different sizes. They're brilliant! xMy debt free diary | Post Office loan: £2131 1429.38 | Barclaycard: £4429 1988.12 | Paypal Credit £322.71 574.91 | Monzo Flex £169.03 |

TiredMom - thanks a lot for your help. I will see if my mother-in-law can find any.
RustyFlange - I guess these must be the aprons. Obviously much, much more expensive on e-bay!

They are seriously having a laugh, :rotfl: yes those are the ones.
When I get chance and littlies are asleep I'll weigh the ones I've got and work out what the postage would be. If you are unable to get them I could see if they have them when next in and post them to you, please please don't pay those ebay prices.0 -
Thanks Tired Mom that is really kind. I can see why they weren't any left in your Wilkinsons - perhaps they have all been bought by someone to sell on ebay?!0

Anyone have any tips what to pack the hampers with? Was thinking shredded paper, but does anyone else use this?
Any tips where to get it from
Please and ThankyouGreen and White Barmy Army!0 -

Rusty, I'd like to make a suggestion for your hamper.
They are called magic pillowcases or Christmas Eve pillowcases.
It is what it says, a homemade pillowcase (loads of patterns on the web) made of Christmassy cotton fabric (cheap on ebay) and then this poem on a tag attatched.
Christmas starts a magical time,
With all sorts of colours, ribbons & rhyme....
Sugar plum fairies will dance in your head....
If you put this special pillowcase on your bed.
The reason it's special, as you will soon see
Is that it's been dusted with Christmas Fancy!
Visions of candy canes, Santa and treasures
Will fill each dream with sweetness and pleasures.
When the time comes for it to be washed
Do it quickly so no magic is lost!
Nice Christmas Eve tradition I thought and just maybe a way to get little ones asleep;)
