This is £10 in Wilkinsons complete with 3 snowdomes, foam characters and cut outs etc.... hmmm £1 home and bargains each = £3 and then make your own version by just sliding in a picture versus £10 hard decision! I suppose if h&b run out - you could always buy this and split it between a few baskets?
I had seen the domes in HB, might be worth getting a few before everyone else thinks the same. I was going to put pictures in of my children though to give to relatives as a present from them. this is a fantastic idea though as I have a couple of children to buy forRaising kids is like being held hostage by midget terrorists0 -
Also for those doing children's hampers, on the grab it now forum, someone has started a thread about the personalised Christmas Adventure Books with the link for 1p. My DS was bought one of these last year and loved it.
Sorry I don't know how to include the post that I saw, perhaps someone more wiser to the ways could do it if they think it worthwhile
.

I love this thread, just found it through passion8, link here. Thanks passion8!
I made this basket for St Lukes Hospice to raffle off to raise funds. I bought the basket from another charity shop for £2, and the goodies inside are from Boots, see Boots link.

£10, that's ridiculous isn't it!!! We've been out today looking for a pressie for a 5yo boy (thought hard but didn't think I could make anything suitable or give him a basket of something!). We ended up buying a Meccano set from Boots for £12 (used points so was free). The set is great and I think we will get our oldest this for Xmas but looking round town I couldn't believe the massive amount of tat for huge prices. Do other people really buy that stuff? Who will look at the Dora set above and think wow, that's grear for £10...?
